My First running on LPG resulted in 20.33 Kms/Kg (LPG of around 21.4 KG was used and car was driven for about 435 Kms), car is Margalla 1300cc. I drove the car on dam hard pedal with 40% AC, I really love the performance of LPG as I can easily smoke out cars on Islamabad Expressway . I think I could take it to 25kg/Km if driven in "Banday da Putter" mode, as that mode on CNG gives me easily 25kms/Kg.

went today to get it filled,140rs/kg :-#
though the owner said 130rs/kg for u

even the taxi wala's got price of 140rs, there were some 3 taxi's waiting to get it filled

i think my avg has further improved as it was getting full even at 16kg but still he took it to 18.5 which i asked, short of 1.5kg because of hike in price

got 170km with 8 kg lpg considering 2 kg is left unburnt in the cyliner as i got a total of 10 kg filled for the first time...in my carby cultus with full time ac in city driving on light foot...i just wonder when will i have to drain oil from the kit.

yesterday i got LPG SIS kit installed from Hascol Khi , in civic vti 2002 prosmatec , so far have only driven 18 KMs and drive is same as on petrol same smooth shifting no problem as of yet with idle or such . will update with pics and millage after first tank which should nt take more than a week . However would like to point out few things for benefit of others specially those thinking of getting LPG from hascol conversion center. These guys have outsourced fitting of kit to a workshop next to curtain corner nursery and i had to go some where in emergency and leave the car with them under the hascol guys supervision, so not really happy with the quality of their fittings for example the tank is not exactly in the center and then the placed the filling nozzle in the way of tool box , which i had to cut from sides as i didnt want two more holes in the car ,and then for passing fuel line then took out the drain patch in the trunk and threw the cover, now i have a use less 2 inch by 2 inch hole in my trunck that i need to block to prevent rwater and dirt going from inside . things like these really **** me off it just shows lazy attitude of installers. so my advice is if u get LPG fitted in ur car stay with it and ensure they dont make such idiotic blunders.

Margalla 1992-1998 is 1300cc previous models were 1000cc, I have 1998 model equipped with G13BA engine. Today I visited the LPG filling guy near my area, he is now asking 1400 for 11.8Kg cylinder, from full 11.8KG cylinder you can get maximum 11.4 pumped into your CNG tank. So it costs about 122.8/kg. While the agency's today's rate of 11.8Kg Fon gas cylinder is 1,280. There is no hike in prices by LPG marketing companies, the main culprits are LPG distributors and retailers. Further, one good news is that, you can get CNG nozzle in Kashmiri Bazar, near Raja Bazaar Rawalpindi.

Hot water pipes is a must, It will improve your mileage and will also prevent the kit from freezing. I has a really bad experience with freezing, I had filled about 18 KG of gas in my tank and then freezing issue started, when freezing starts you could see proper ice on the side of your kit and once LPG starts to freeze, then it is really difficult to turn on the petrol as liquid LPG chocks the carburetor.

u get it pumped from shop keepers? or u do it urself? if from them they wont b doing it for free?
if u do it urself then u need the equipment as well like they fill

What does it mean. It does nt make any difference with installation of pipes or it works well without pipes.

Yep, if you fill more than 12 KG in your tank, it freezes. It is better to have hot water pipes in your car, starting of your car will be great as well as mileage and pick will increase

I get it pumped from the shop keepers, I usually purchase the full 11.8 Kg cylinder and get it pumped in by the shop keeper in my cylinder.
