u may need proper adjustment,my alto finished 10kg at 110km
after that got it adjusted and then i filled 5kg that lasted 90kms

SO i got 14.5 KG of LPG filled in suzuki swift with a landi renzo kit. when i went to get it tuned @ Sajid CNG he said that LPG is of no use, as the quality of fuel is not good, and it will ruin the CNG kit pretty soon..the internal organs of the kit will fail etc etc.. I got the car tuned anyway.. matlab does the LPG add to any kind of maintenance to the car. Also who here is the oldest LPG in CNG kit bloke :).. he can spread some words of wisdom

well u r the first guy to whom he said this then, he didnt said any such thing to me or to asim @zia1288 is using it for quite some time
i'd say its better than cng but price is just too much

now many people have shifted to lpg even taxi's as well

today got 5kg more fill from Sajeel traders Adyala road n got CNG kit serviced from a guy named Kaleem. kit was completely full of oil. I hope this time it gives better average. I have a question that
oil in CNG kit effects the millage or its is just for maintenance purpose?

Sajeed traders is a choor, he is filling Irani gas which contain lot of oil. He has cylinder of all LPG companies and is getting same irani gas in all of them with fake seals.

My mechanic was saying its very good as compared to CNG as according to him that your engine oil might not get that dirty that used to be on CNG well for this i have to wait for my next oil change

he had all khas gas cylinders when I went there. till now I have driven 46 km with AC lets see what is the millage this time. I will try to find some other guynear me.

Can anybody guide is there any issue of setting or something else. ???

get ur kit serviced, if not, then oil drained from it
try lpg from some where else n get the settings adjusted some expert or good mechanic
n rest see if ur foot isnt too hard on race, u cant expect miracles with flooring

I got recently kit service just last week. I used to drive on low RPM. OK let's once again get it adjusted.

my experience so far with CNG kit/cylinder on my Suzuki Mehran (2004 model)

after getting kit/cylinder service,
1st filling, 8 Kg - traveled 155 km - 19 km/kg
2nd filling, 10 Kg - traveled 130 km only - 13 km/kg

went to mechanic, he serviced the kit and said to change the filling shop, but i got it filled from the same shop.
3rd filling, 5 Kg - traveled 182 Km ...........

i don't get this fluctuation.

LPG prices should reduce and they will reduce if the Government is allowed to follow its policy.
I would like to clear the confusion about safety issues of using LPG and using CNG cylinder and kit as LPG kit.
1. CNG cylinder in vehicles are compressed to a very high pressure above 200 bar (nearly 3000 psi as 1 bar equals 14.5 psi).
2. LPG cylinders are filled at a pressure of below 200 psi.
3. Higher pressure of CNG not only requires a very robust and heavy cylinder but the kit has to do lot of work to reduce that pressure to a practical working pressure.
4. As LPG pressure is low, the cylinder is light and much cheaper. (I sold my old CNG cylinder for Rs 19000 and bought a LPG cylinder for Rs 7000).
5. Due to low pressure of LPG the kit is much simpler hence it is called a Regulator.
6. In Europe they use LPG not CNG mainly because safety is very important for them.

Guys I was using a factory fitted CNG mehran 2006. Which was giving me around 90kms in 1 cylinder on advanced timing & around 125 ims/cylinder by keeping itk on petrol settings and adjusting CNG by controlling air intake. On petrol it gives me 12.5 ims/ lit without AC & 8.5/lit with AC in Lahore city.
As an experiment I fill LPG in the same CNG kit from the road side LPG filling shop with no alteration and I have kept the same settings as of the petrol as recommended by suzuki authorised dealer. I put 12 kg gas costed me Rs 1380 115/kg. So far I have driven a bit more then 100 ims. For sure drive is better then CNG & at power with petrol. I will get back to u guys about the consumption and running cost after burning the complete cylinder.

When u fill CNG cylinder with LPG the LPG flows directly to kit in liquid form and most of LPG contains oil so oil flows in kit, moreover when liquid LPG flows in kit it then converts in gas and at that time the temperature in kit drops below zero and the kit freezes. Both of the oil and freezing creates problems. I have experienced that never fill LPG in cng cylinder if u want to avoid both these problems. Fill LPG in a cylinder when u can keep it up right when the gas comes out, and for that purpose ordinary LPG cylinders are best.
