No pumps in Faisalabad, Yet.
LPG is filled desi way. So basically you can get it refilled from almost anywhere, there are 4 locations within 100Meter from my house:)

It's 130-140 Rupees per KG here. And 1 KG equals almost 2 liters. Everything is expensive in Islamabad:)

I'm still testing this system out- If this is successful, use LPG and decide for myself:)

I just don't know which kit to buy etc.! Help meh:)

u can also use cng kit for lpg if u got one

its the same rate for at shop as at the pump, its basically cheaper every where else including lhr,khi...65 per litre or 120rs per kg where as its 170rs per kg here n no pumps so useless to get it here

Problemo- It's only available 3/4 days a week, only gives average of 100-160KM, will make my Swift drive like a Santro and the Cylinder is phat.

Pros of LPG- Refill from endless stations, no queues(YET), villages, take out cylinder when ever you want, get 300km+ average on a 10kg cylinder and pick like/better than Petrol(87/93RON vs 110 RON) and cylinder only weighs like 10-12kg itself!
Called Tesla Islamabad today, Kit costs 6500.... so that is very cheap!

why ur swift will only do 160

if u r gonna get filled from shops where domestic cylinders get filled then obviously no lines

Thats quite a difference because here in Lahore shop bedise PSO Shalimar quoted me price of 34k of lpg kit for efi car along with cylinder an installation.

dear members! I want to know if telsa kit is of sequential type for efi vehicles or is it for cars with carburetor. A regular kit cannot give proper milage with efi cars which are computer controlled and require that fuel may be released only at specific times where as fuel from regular lpg kits is invariably available all the times. So any vendor of these kits may kindly intimate if he is supplying bothe type of kits or only regular ones. In case he is supplying both types of cars ,he may indicate price of each type and his contact no and locaton of his out let.

If you wanna tell me the CNG avg, my 1.5 EFI Nissan easily gives 220Km on GT road and may well do 250 on motorway.

A guy with same car having 1.8 EFI claims 300+ on motor way.

City avg's depend on road and driving conditions.

Yup. There are so many factors affecting the avgs. One PW member is getting 250 from his 7AFE corolla. While one of my office colleague gets 80 from the same model 1.6 Gli.

Well, it depends on gas pressure etc. But I can think it will do at least 160 with AC in City drive:)

Tesla Kit costs 6500-/ I am not sure what you get- you might just get the Kit but no electrical controls like Emulator or LPG on/off switch, I will have to call again to confirm. The only thing keeping me back is: I need to find a good mechanic in Faisalabad since some genuine wires are going to be cut and I do not want to face any problems afterwards:)

They have LPG kit for EFI cars as well. If I can remember correctly, it's called " Sequential Kit".

That is probably an imported kit. Ask him for the make and model+ make and model of Cylinders!

Not really- Say I/other people are happy with LPG- you can get 2-3 big cylinders and a small pump for cheap. Stock up for winter:)
