This seems to be the case.Try changing this oil at 3000 kms and observe oil on next oil.And try using synthetic oils they have better cleaning ability

I have toyota prius and toyota CHR both.
Toyota CHR mileage is around 45k and now 76k driven.I am using ZIC 20-50 from the day1 on both cars my fuel average is max 18 and mini 16.I am planning to shift my engine oil to lower grades like Ow20 or 5w20.Does anyone guide me which engine oil grade is best for hybrid engines?

I have driven my gs150 around 18 000 kms on 20w 50 due to lack of knowledge but know as i came to know that 10w 40 is the recommended oil viscosity should i stick with 20w 50 or shift to 10w 40

gine oil I should use for my newly bought corolla Altis 1.6. Its 2019 model with 42,000kms milage. I visited Toyota Abpara Islamabad last week for its 1st oil change after I purchased this car and the person at counter suggested Taglon X SN 5W-30 (Grey Can). I proceeded accordingly. Since empty can was in my car's trunk and I just noticed today that its not a fully synthetic oil and rather a semi synthetic one. I checked out the older packing TAGLON SAE 5W-50 ( White Can) that I used to buy earlier for my GLI Auto 2019 (65K Kms Run) and found that it was fully synthetic. Also I must mention that I showed the same pic (White Can) before buying the recent oil for Altis 1.6 to the Toyota Rep on which he told me that this has been discontinued and the Grey packing is available now.
I am now worried about oil quality as its not fully synthetic and the Grade is also different 5W-30 vs 5W-50. So I request to kindly suggest the most suitable Toyota or Else oil that I should go for in next change. Thanking you all in anticipation for possible support.

10w40 in Fully Synthetic will be feasible if no major oil consumption/decrease is there

Assalam O Alaikum. I noticed today that the Toyota Taglox X 5W-30 (Grey Can) that I got for my 1.6 Altis (42K Kms run) from Toyota Islamabad is Semi Synthetic.
Earlier I used to have Taglon (White Can) for my GLI Auto 2019 that was 5W-50 (Fully Synthetic) from the same Toyota Islamabad which they say is discontinued.
I have two questions;
1- Grade 5W-30 is better or 5W-50 for Altis 1.6 42,000 kms at odo.
2- Semi Synthetic by Toyota Lubricants is equally good as Fully synthetic?

Hi,

I need to know which transmission oil should I use for Civic 2005 Prosmatec? And in what Quantity?

My oil has become a little brownish, having burnt like smell.

A local mechanic here said that not only the drain bolt, transmission will be opened to drain the oil completely. And that only draining via the bolt will not completely
drain it.

He also recommended some oil from Amelie brand, which i havent seen before. As per him, its the best one around.

Also, if anyone can mention a good mechanic in Peshawar to do the job.

Would appreciate honest advice, Thank you.

Why use expensive brands in an economical car as local brands perform very well also.
