Check the data sheet of HX7 Plus. Says it’s also for diesel engine. It’s ACEA A3/B4 certified which means good for diesel.
B rating is for diesel.

And B4 as well as B5 are great ratings good for modern diesel engines.

I already linked mobil1 5w30 above that says acea a5/B5 on the box. Get that one available locally. Triple action power mentioned on can.

For liqui moly there are different variants, which one are you referring to. Attach can pic.

Basically oil that is rated B4 or B5 will work fine in your revo, as per its owners manual. These are European standard oils.

Other standard is API where it should be above API CF4 as per owners manual. Latest is API CK4.

I get mine from PSO only mate but on rare occasions Shell. Try getting from company operated pumps only.

There is Amsoil 5W-30 Diesel as well and its CK-4. The ACEA rating is E6,E7, E9, now this rating is for heavy duty diesel engine and is used in extreme conditions. Now I don't know what extreme is or if the conditions in Karachi are deemed extreme or not.

Heavy duty diesel oils are meant for heavy machines like buses, large trucks, etc.. will likely be an overkill for this engine. It does not ask for heavy duty oils either. They will be a bit expensive. I doubt it will harm the engine though.

Cheaper to go for ACEA B4 and B5 oils, they are usually dual use both for gasoline/petrol cars as well as diesel. Easier availability and a bit cheaper.

I asked 2 dealers n they said 12000 and 12500... The later one told me that some are japanese while the cheapers r thai... I don't know if he was deceiving or what

While watching an episode of ‘wheelers dealers’, found out that there’s also a service of ‘oil sample analysis’ that tells you about the metal shavings, wear & tear and contamination etc in the oil to have a better idea of the engine without inspecting each part individually.

Not sure if we have the same facility here in Pakistan.

Hi,
1- For Pakistani driving conditions it is recommended to change it on 30,000 - 40,000 KM.

2- You should check owner's manual for the recommend transmission oil. Kindly also check that whether it's an Automatic Transmission or CVT. Because if you put wrong fluid so your transmission night fail.

If you do not have owners so you can also check it on internet.

3- Are you asking for Engine Oil Grade? How much kilometers is it driven and what engine oil grade are you using now?

If you are a normal user so you can go for Havoiline Synthetic Engine Oil or Toyota Genuine Engine Oil. They both are good.

You can go for Toyota Genuine Oil or Amsoil.

Amsoil is a bit higher on price but it's worth it.

@pwuser167017688044 re 1) no it is not recommended anywhere to change CVT oil of any car at such early interval ie 20,000km to 30,000km. Pakistan is not on planet Mars. Consult official owners manual from country where car company has direct presence eg Japan or USA or Thailand.

@pwuser170167548129 please consult official owners manual of Nissan DayZ from Japan. And confirm your transmission type and oil from it. Most reliable CVTs from Japan only recommend oil inspection at intervals like 80,000km to 100,000km in owners manual and change if needed.

I mentioned 30-40k KM and not 20-30k KM

Most of the dealerships also change these fluids here in range as per my experience.

As per one of the Nissan's Manual it is recommended to change transmission oil on every 40k KM too

People do a lot of unnecessary and useless stuff here.

Traditional manual or ATF transmission oil and CVT oil are different, having different recommendations (former can/should be changed early, while CVT in general is absolutely fine until at least 50,000 miles/70-80k km. For this specific car, what transmission is used in Dayz? Follow its official owners or service manual from Japan.

Jo seal purani ho aur usko hona hoga leak woh kar jayegi, chahe jo bhi oil istemaal karen.

Meri Suzuki 30 saal se ziada puraani hay, kahin se leak nahi karti, kyunke saari seals new hain. I use fully synthetic oil.

Sasta 5W-30 daalne main koi harj nahi hain. Daal kar chalayen aur monitor karen. Aapki average barhe gi, aur is engine ko chahiye bhi 5W-30. Hamesha manufacturer ki requirements follow karain.
