Thing is, look up what your car manufacturer says the engine needs. 99% Japanese cars are built with tight engine clearances and designed for 0w20 oils for the most part.
So if you use it you will be fine.
However for your own peace of mind - higher HTHS generally gives better wear protection specially if car is driven like maniacs . Not normal driving.
In that case a higher HTHS oil like 5w30 might give you better peace of mind.
5w30 is good enough for wear protection in all applications.. (but so is 0w20 if the engine is designed for it which Japanese are).
Euro spec oils can also go to 5w40 - specifically in high performance German cars driven on autobahn but have to make sure those oils are ACEA rated. Like Motul has a few ACEA rated available locally.
