It still didn't address two things: 1) If the external temperature does not matter then why the manufacturers recommend thinner oil for winters and thicker for summers?
External temperature does not matter when the car is started because it keeps at designated temperature (set by thermostat valve and auto fan) but it is there when the cold car is started
It should have simply been 0W-20 even in summers, scratching 5W-30.
