5w-30 is best suited all weather engine oil for Toyota vehicles. stick to brand available at brand stations or trusted oil dealer depots.

Hey guys,

New to Pakistan and have usually always done my own maintenance.

Using makki oil service for our vehicles and they used kixx oil previously in our 2015 Suzuki every turbo. This time, they used korenergy classic 10w40. Price difference was 3300 Vs 5200 kixx.

I have personally never heard of this brand. Anyone have experience using it? They stated it was an "excellent' oil but I mean, that's them.

Also, they use these 'powerspeed" oil filters. Who makes them? Good/bad quality?

I also have a 2006 shogun/pajero 3.2. Was told caltex delo gold 15w40 and guard oil filters were the way to go. Any recommendations?

I swear by changing the oil every 4-5000kms on the dot

This is the oil that was used. Haven't been able to find much info about it, but seems to be locally made.

i don't have any idea. those who are expert and have personal experience Please recommend for better engine performance. running is around 1500 km a month. i am from Karachi. Thank You .

5W-30 Shell / Aisin / Havoline from trusted shop or brand stations only.
keep regular watch over oil dipstick, change interval 7000 kms, change filter at every alternate oil change.

Aoa everyone.

I have a 2015 Suzuki every join turbo automatic. Wondering what oil is best for use in Pakistan? I live in Lahore and vehicle is 99% used in town only.

Just had its second oil change under my ownership at Makki oil store and they have been pouring 10w40. However, I just searched in the owners manual and see that 5w30 is recommended.

So my question is, 10w40 or 5w30 better for the combination of a hot climate, a small 660cc turbo high revving engine, and frequent in town use.

I just want what's best for my engine. I did some research and see that pak Suzuki recommends 10w40 in the local small cars here, but Japan Suzuki says 5w30.

These new small K series Suzuki engines run much smoother with thin oil grades. I have owned Wagon R (which has a similar engine) for 7 years with more than 80,000 km driven. I even did multiple Islamabad-Karachi round trips during the summer with zero issues. I always used OEM Suzuki 0W-20 oil which is also recommended in the owner's manual. As soon as you switch to thick grade, the engine become sluggish.

Hello everyone, I hope you guys are doing great.

So, I have CD 70 2020 model and till 10000 meters I was using Atlas 20w40 recommended by Honda.
Then I have moved to Zic 20w40 which is expensive as well but still Idk if it's even the best, after 30KMs travel in 1 go at 60 to 70 speed, I feel like the engine oil is getting thinner.
Is it okay to stick with this oil or you guys think another brand which is good from this one as well, all of your opinions will be appreciated.

If you don't check engine oil on cold engine, it will definetly feel thinner
