I think 5w-40 is thick for this car. IMO, 5w-30 would be fine and best suited (considering most of the factors).

use what the official manual of the car says . i dont know of the pkdm wagonr . just consult manual and stick to what is said in it.

Best engine oil for all 660cc japani is only 5w-30, never any other,

Unless it's newer 660cc engines. 2020+ kei cars do not tolerate anything above 0w20.

Why not use local equivalents? Why are you using 20w50 anyway? Switch to 5w40.

Ugggh why are you using 20w50 in a Vitz.. do you think it’s a carburetor car from the 80s??

0w20 to 5w30 is the oil for it. But it must be reducing oil now and damaged with such thick oil.

I’ve no idea about the brand you’re asking abt. 20w50 is the cheapest you can get in any brand.

Please recommend good transmission oil for Subaru Pleo. I could not find owner manual on web. Also tell me how much litre to pour in?

Mention model year. If it's Subaru's own car then you'll have to search it yourself. If your Pleo is a rebaged Daihatsu Mira, the owners manual says to pour in 75w-80 gl4 spec oil in 2.25 liters for the manual variant and if it's CVT automatic then use Toyota FE CVT fluid. Drain is approximately 2.4 liters and full capacity 5.7. If it's standard 3 or 4 speed automatic then use Toyota ATF type-iv fluid and make sure to change the transmission filter. Washing it with petrol will not give you good results.

Should not be using 20W-50 in Vitz.

Best is to just use PSO or Shell or Total engine oil.

Yamaha lube is semi-synthetic and Totachi 10w40 is mineral based. If you want full synthetic oil then go for Caltex Havoline 10w40 4T.

sir @itsmeramish if convenient please visit a workshop and perform compression test, dry& wet values shall not be below 160 psi. also check for pcv valve and change if necessary.
it is recommended to use 5w-30 all weather engine oil of known brand buy only genuine product.

My mother has an 2014 Nissan dayz,it's been driven around 133 thousand kilometres,we were busy due to Ramadan so we weren't able to get the oil changed, the change interval was from 127k to130k and we have driven over 3000 kilometres extra without an oil change, will this cause any complications or issues, I checked the oil levels and they looked pretty okay and the oil didn't look old it was still kind of gold colored,We are using havoline 20w-50
