i tried almost every oil available in market on my mehran i am used to change brands
1 sharloo
when i was not so much in cars meachinc used to put this oil in my car and result it drove like a taxi
2 Total
20W-50
used this oil 2 times and i just dissapred in the engine bay no smoke no nothing
3 Zipex
though it was good when it was new but now its all crap used to over heat the car
4 shell
the most bakwass oil available last time i changed to shell threw it away just after 500kms car gave alot of smoke and engine made wired noises
5 Zic only one line nam bare or darshan chotte
6 Mobil askri speacial
got this oil from chaudry autos saddar and i must say i am impressed priced correct and the moment it gone into the engine engine just went from 70% to 100% no smoke and killer pick as i seen invoice dates on oils i bought from pums its always an year old but mobil was just 10 days old no decrising in oil

i've also seen it on CSD near cavelary ground at first it apeared to me as 'mobil' but actualy it was 'askari mobil'

actually i think nothing suits Pakistani enviroment, better than Petromin Ultra 7. engine khush jaib bhee khush..

prblm with petromin is its availability, few days ago i was supposed to get oil changed, went to some shops on walton road no body had it infact no one knew that such an engine oil exists, petromin's dealer is near Kalma choke and getting there now a days is hell alot of issue so ultimately I settled for caltax's oil :-s

from what i can understand,the problem is with auto dealers..

as storm bhai is putting so much effort in this product. he cares for his customers, even the feed back from cutomers to him.
a less greedy dealer will definately want to keep such a quality product..

but the problem is that here every one wants more commission from the distributor of a product. the auto dealers dont care for quality, they just want morecommission..
they try to keep products with more commission.

The oil wala says the way to drive you can take the oil to even 4K. But ME will never take a chance for my car.

hi, i am using caltex hevolin in my cultus efi engine car. i use it 5000km as per instruction in car manual. my car milage is 70000km but engine is fit.

3000 kms? - Thats too early and too pricey for my taste, Even in Pakistan I work the engine oil to at least 5,000 kms before change. Thats Caltex Havoline Motor Oil 20W50 (petrol engine) and Caltex Delo 400 in diesel - no sooner - and both are cheapie oils

changing oil at 3000 kms is literally blowing your money away.

The only reason I can imagine for early change is that the oil is being poisoned by an ill running engine like running cold all the time or running rich or having a bad PCV system..

They try to peddle you fake stuff in the name of profit. Thats robbery - and no wonder they are still stuck with a little dukaan and not morphed into something larger.

i think too that u r changing very early 2k is nothing, u can easily go to 5k when company is saying with good filter, think both for ur car & pocket bhai
