Technically one should use latest API Performance grade oil like API SN,ILSAC GF-5,Synthetic engine oils and lighter SAE grade oils like (5W-20, 0W-30, 10W40 ect.) these kind of oils are best for use in engines and in the last all above mentioned requirements are full filled only by ZIC MOTOR OIL ,

5W-20 or 0W-30 , viscosity grades are best for any harsh weather, Temperature, Road, environment and load conditions, secondly a raw person usually thinks that 5W-20 means the oil which is suitable only in that place where ambient temp. is between 5 to 20 centigrade and same with 0W-30 but their is not such in reality as 5W-20 or 0W-30 are the viscosity grades of oils. To understand it first of all let it be very clear that basically all oils have two major gradings 1. Performance grading 2. Viscosity grading , and in more easier way think One person (A) has his weight 100 kg and he can lift only 50 km wt and another person (B) who has his wt 55 Kg and he can lift 80 Km wt , so persons own wt can be called viscosity and its wt lifting capability is its performance like wise oils have their viscosity grading and performance grading
Performance grading is represented in API (American Petroleum Institute) which shows the performance limit of any oil product that how an oil can perform in engine and the latest performance grading of Gasoline Engine oil is API SN, and for Diesel the latest Diesel Engine oil Grading is API CJ-4, and in Pakistan CI-4
for Viscosity grading it is represented in SAE Grading like 5W-20, 0W-30 , 10W-40 ect and they only shows how an oil is viscus or lighter in their physical state. Additionally every newer engine like 0 meter to 50-60 K needs lighter viscosity oil and all older engines required viscus oil as wear and tear took place between engine ring and cylinder walls,
In the last API has categorized all the world into 3 Temp. zone as shown

so 5W-20 and 0W-30 viscosity graded oils are best in Paki Envo.

There are so many lubricants (Engine Oils) are available in Pakistani market. Which one is the best for Petrol / CNG cars???????

according to the pakistan environment shell helix is better option for CNG cars use shell helix HX7 [one in the blue packing] and for petrol use shell helix ULTRA and i am owner of shell petrol station since 1998 and i m not promoting it due to this reason.i m using it since 1998 and the most important thing is u can find orrignal 1 on any shell retail site and it has lubricant for every type of engine's

Friends i am using TOYOTA MOTOR OIL SL 10W-30 coming in tin packing for my toyota probox 2006 about 70 k driven,is it good or should i change it,its japanese oil as written on pack avail from toyota dealerships

For old corolas, margalas etc use 20w50 oil of REPSOL Super 20W-50
For new corolas,civic,etc use either REPSOL 10w-40, 15W40 (for CNG) and 5W-30 (for ultra performance and very cold weather)
For diesel old engines use REPSOL mixfleet 20w-50 oil
For new diesel comon rail/turbocharged engines use REPSOL THPD 15w-40 oil

no it isn't. ZIC, FUCHS, Caterpillar, Valvoline, Mobil1, Liquimoly & Petromin (to name a few) offer superior products in Pakistan.

Agreed and therefore we have got 10W-40, in latest API Grading API SN, and , 20W-50 in API SM Grading which no other lubricant company provide these viscosity grade in latest API Grading

without question your products always have the latest API rating in PK which is highly commendable. Zic hjas been working hard for the last few years to really be at the top of this market segment. Bravo!

to be honest - the material printed on the back makes me shift away from such products. And why is toyota selling it in 4 litre packs when it would be far cheaper for them to supply in 200 litre drums to dealerships.

i tend to agreew with this but i found (after extensive research) that customers in PK preffer to have th ecans opened infront of them to make sure that it is fresh. pretty silly considering that even the bugatti dealers use drums abroad.

First I used to use some petro-canada oil in black bottle. but for the past 4 years have been using mobil super 1000. it was good.

but recently i bought super 2000 and i believe it was fake.

Brother 15 days back i tried Mobil 1000 (15W40)for Rs 1950 from Rawalpindi. Although about 300-400 Rs expensive than other similar oils.I must say its the best oil availible.
I ve tried Havoline, Liquimoly,Shell even Castrol Magnatec and other very good brands but they are no match for Mobil.
You may try some authenticated shop Lahore. Mobil 2000 must be a bit more expensive than Mobil 1000. Mobil 1 (5w-50) I asked 15 days back was around Rs 45000/.

So the recommendation is if you can spend only a few more Bucks then nothing better than Mobil.

bro then which oil u suggest for toyota probox 60000km driven,i prev used toyota SL 10w-30
and if i want to shift to mobil 1 frm where i can get genunine in isb/rwp
