M-Tag deduction on Ring Road Lahore

Today a strange yesterday happened. I took Lahore Ring Road from Airport coming towards Raiwind road. As i moved onto Ring road, i paid 45PKR toll. After few minutes i recievd a message from 9909 that 45 PKR have been decucted from M-Tag for goung onto Ring Road. It even mentioned the loacation as Ring Road's same toll plaza from where i took route on Ring road and time also matched. LRR staff didnt knew that M-Tags work on ring road, so they insisted to pay toll when you go on ring road, and neither did I before this. Looks like govt is ripping people by hiding something.

Nopes. Works ok with me. I daily use it twice and 45 rs. get cut from my M-tag balance. No one asks for another 45 rs. there at the entrance toll plazas.
I enter from valencia/lake city toll plaza and get off at gajjumatta. And vice versa in the evening.

Seems more like a case of staff ripping off people..the scanners and the red displays are a clear give away of a functional mtag deduction setup.
Its been like this for about a month

This has happened to me but I ignored it on first occasion. But now yesterday I went to Airport and came back, both times the screen didn't show any deduction and I asked the guy he said M-tag not working. The time was 3am.. but at 7am I had received the deduction sms from M-Tag for the same toll plaza.

Where to complaint about this?

I had lodged complaint via PM Citizen Portal and this is the reply that I had received.

I urge people to register complaint on Citizen portal and attached both sms and the LRR slip.

It seems to be the staff pocketing the money.

M-tag service on Lahore Ring Road entry toll plazas is a very good thing. But the real problem is low quality of service. You recharge your m-tag thinking to go cash-free & smoothly on ring road but it doesn't happen always. Many times I have experienced that the toll plaza operator saying " sir ye chal nahi raha "... or they say "sir gari thori aor agay karain.. ub thora gari peechay karain"... What is the benefit of m-tag with this level of service ?

FWO & LRRA must look into this & setup a quality system for m-tag users. M-tag receiver antennas must be properly placed at all toll plazas. It will help reducing long queues at entry toll plazas & also reduce work load on operators.

It's up to you brother if you have money in Mtag and you know it don't pay the cash 2 anyone. Different toll plazas are given to different contractor and most of them are not well aware of this system.

Its crazy they have been charging double amount every now and then. First i complained they said sir it was system error now after one month they did same . Those who travel daily should check positively the sms you receive they do it randomly they charge you double they say they have deducted 45 rupees but if u tally ur current balance with previous balance then you will know that double amount has been deducted
