Guys, I can't see anything after CHALI's pics. Basharatu made a post but I could not see it in the main thread so have read up all what written by hitting reply and reading the last 10 replies.

Basharatu , you should have the desert camo color done, it will look good. With your territory & use, OD green will be nice too, Siekens have a paint in the right shade, ask for it from any motor paint shop or your painter would know.

Been out of home town over a decade & a half, can't say where you'll find the right guy. But my tried and tested suggestion to you is that get colored prints of what you want, go to these guys who makes the seats etc for hiace, hilux etc etc & tell them to make it. The other suggestion is that you should see their 'other' finished products before hand so that you know what the end finish would come to be.

Sarmad Sb all gone quiet, is it the preparation for ramzan. I have fitted the carbi, so far so good, planning to take it out phase 8 side today. Any plan of you coming that side today. I would apprecaite if I can get the contact number for the person who is owning the Toyota FJ 40, as I am planning to get one. I have heard that a few MUTTS have been opened up for spares purpose, any idea!

Which carb you have in it now? do you have a mod in fuel pump as well?

the carb fitted now is of suzuki jeep. I had changed the fuel pump to an electronic one, but did not like the performance, so changed it back to its original.

Have you changed the genrator as well? my mechanic strongly recomment to swap the starter with Hilux and convert the elec sys from 24 to 12 for reliability.....

what do u suggest? and what about distributor? is it the orignal one in yours?

Finally my jeep started. and it is on the road.. all the system of mutt was in good condition. no alteration done yet. so its running fine. now dainter and painter work + wiring required. pics soon.

Sir,,, super jeeps at khanewal road is comparitively the better in multan.. who understand these rigs better than others..... however we cant say that he is restoration specialist, however he is better... but expensive man... coz he only deals in these vintage jeeps....

I have replaced my MUTT gen with a 24v land cruiser one. You have to be carefull with the RPMs as well, as if you notice original gen of Mutt has got three fan belts. Rest all is original, I would not personally recommend to convert it to 12v, as everything will have to be converted. Yes if you are planning to have it converted to diesal, then you can.........Sarmad Sb, ur comments.

M converting the A2 into a diesel... no more headchs of 24 volts... however my M825 will be restored with original specs.... tht jeep is in great condition and with everything working... and is only going through dent paint, electrificaton and lubrication jobs.....
