Yes, you cannot sell here as we cannot import an older vehicle.
I suggest you become a member at Forums for anyone interested in the M151 Jeep • Portal. You'll find useful tips there in maintaining it. Might be even lucky to sell there. Its a forum dedicated to owners of the M151s (G838s).

We face the same issue of parts, so we have to improvise.

Do you have restoration pictures ? Do post 'em.

...hi...sorry for late reply.....yes i know that site but i think is too far to sell there...

.....here we also have a difficulty finding parts but we can get from our army logistic by any chance....but my mutt almost 60% parts were imported from states and it costed me alot....yes i do have a detail pictures when it was restored but unfortunately all of those pictures is in my broken hard disc and i didn't have a chance to save it.....i did post some pictures in somewhere but i forget the web address....sorry...

iam a New member at this Forum. As per my Introduction then iam Capt. W.M. Khan. An airline Pilot by profession, i simply love 4 x4 riders. thats probably the main reason i joined this thread. Like all other members iam also indulge in Restoring a 151-A2, and a GmC Wagoneer aswell.

Hello Allee,

The drop of the hat difference between the two is that the 'Captains' A2 (M151A2) has its spare wheel and gerry can mounted at the back and it has a rear bench seat. These came with top bows and a canvas cover.
Whereas the M825, is all open from the rear, has the gerry can on the driver's side, the spare wheel on the passenger side and the operator seats atop the rear fenders, with grab handles on each side.

Pak Army got both variants, but the 825s were larger in quantity.

Thank you, yes its an M825 from the last of the lots.

M825 = no tail gate

M151A2

There's another interesting thing about the M825 and that's the M825 TOW Carrier.
It is a combiniation of 825 & A2, i.e. spares & gerrycans on the side and the back :o
