As for the price, it all depends on how you want it, what kind of piece you pick up and what you want to have eventually. If you are deciding to go for an engine swap, then it really doesn't matter how the vehicle is mechanically. You can put in any engine in it (minus a turbo) and it'll run on the same gearbox. The price can start from 80,000 going all the way up to 350,000. Naturally the higher the price, the lessor the effort afterwards, but my advise is that one should always know what has been put in, how & where.
So if you have time and money, you can pick up a piece for 100,000 convert that yourself to any engine and end up with a desired product that you know off within 250,000.
Mind you that original pieces are unreliable, anything can breakdown at anytime and part availability is HIGHLY RARE.
