This has two charging rate options 15amps and 20 amps, you need a amp-meter to see if your solar panels are able to provide 15 amps or it provides less as output from solar lot depends upon the time of the day. Description does not says as how intelligent a system is, like I would expect following
1. Operates like a ups the way it takes power from wapda and delivers it to a dedicated line while simultaneously charges the battery bank using the output from solar panel only.
2. During power outrage, provides power to the dedicated line via solar panel and batteries.
3. During night, it should detect that solar panels are not giving output so should become a plane ups, charges the batteries from taking power from wapda.
Otherwise, your batteries will remain expose to damage from remaining in discharge state. Kindly verify using amp-meter, cutoff should be adjusted to 14volts to 14.4 volts.

p.s: low c.g maybe because of above quoted reason, less charging rate as solar panel will deliver a limited current.just verify??
second kindly dont run your fridge on ups or solar panels. no ones does so as its exposed to damage because fridges consumes far more power, if i would have taht mush of power then i will spare it for all the lights and fans for my home.

Yes this inverter is intelligent enough that it can perform any function one expect. It has two mini CPUs. Yes it can run on wapda and at the same time solar may charge the battries. When solar power is not availabale it works simple as UPS i.e taking power from wapda and charge the batteries. It has two different charging rate for wapda i.e 10A and 20A and 5 diffirent rate for solar charging i.e 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50A. Low cuttoff voltage can be adjusted. Battery full voltage are automatic at 28.6v (as this is 24v inverter) and can not be adjusted except this one. Inverter has a 3 step charging. Maximum Solar current in peak hours is 22A. I set the inverter to charge only from solar energy thus when at night solar power is not available, inverter runs the load on wapda but does not charges the battery. Inverter charged the batteries full during the day using solar energy. Full charged batteries are used at night when wapda is not available. I am attaching the snapshot of inverter's manual which gives you better idea.

I equalizes the cells level and gravity from whithin the batteries. Previously gravity of one cell was 1200 as compared to others who has 1250. Due to which one battery having this cell shows overall 0.5 volt less as compared other battery. After leveling and equalizing every cell shows equal gravity and overall voltage of both batteries are also almost equal.

i visited that plot in i9 some time ago it seemed some other place .. no one knew about any industry/factory selling deionized/battery water.. so i had to buy form chemical shop in rawalpindi.. @20rs per kg.

Only thing needed here is that you adjust the charging rate in accordance to your batteries( select the right charging rate option on both modes ups/solar inverter). like find out the amp-hr rating of your batteries and accordingly select the charging rate option.
How many batteries have you attached with this ups/solar inverter and their amp-hr ratings??
Cutoff voltage is ok, perfectly set.
I don’t know the battery brand you are using, phoenix UGS grade made for inverters would be the best choice as they have a think plate size.

I am using two AGS 100Ah battries (in series) with this inverter. I came to know latter about the Pheonix UGS series from this thread when I already have purchased the setup. Moreover Pheonix brand is not available in my city.
Inverter automatically set the charging rate by analyzing the status of batteries but I set up the charging rate for wapda at 10A and leaves at default (i.e 50A) for soalr. Inverter has 3 step charging and I analyzed the charging step of inverter as when batteries are fully discharged inverter provides 15A current for some time as the level of batteries increases level of current decreases to 7A and stable. When batteries voltage reaches 26V, level of current further decreased to 2.5A. After batteries fully charged level of current becomes 0.2A to 0.3 A.

I am also planning to add two more batteries of same brand and same capacity in parallel to already batteries. What do you suggest should I purchased the same or Pheonix UGS series??

can we connect 4 maintainance free batteries in a maner that they give more amperes and the same 24v voltage? 2nd query is that will a stabilizer on the output socket of the ups eliminate the noise of the fans? ups is digital kit

Yes u can . here the example of apc ups 1.5 kva which is 24 v dc ...... 24 v 100 amperesparallel with 24 v 100 amperes ....... output wud be 24 vdc 200 amperes

plus you cannot minimize the fans noise as ur ups / inverter is sine wave topology ........ above pics of ups is pure sine wave ..... no humming sounds from fans ..........

whether it is 12 volts or 24 volts or 48 volts .... u can add parallel batteries ........... if ur charger is strong enuf to charge between 15 to 20 amperes then u can add two more batteries with ur existing batteries ... if ur ups is 24 volts then add two more batteries with it ...... 2 X 12 VOLTS in series + 2 X 12 VOLTS in series and then connect first pair of 24 volts to second pair of 24 volts parallel and enjoy . many of my clients are doing this with APC 1.5 KVA ....

Please check AGS battery Tonic bottle water and post the results here.

tested with TDS HM USA (original), 0-1 ppm.. its really as good as advertised. AC water on the other hand showed a reading of 20-30 ppm collected in open container.
