Have you tested Pyro's Battery/Distilled water ???

Bought Volta 180AH 23 plate. Filled with 1250SG Sulfuric Acid. Battery is said to be Platinum model, it has more % of lead and some platinum in it. I don't know what philosophy is behind this, but lets see if this one also goes upto 4yr mark. Market is flooded these days with Volta and Exide very less AGS and Phoenix the reason they are expensive and have zero replacement warranty.

these batteries are expensive, anyway use good electrolyte in Volta and you are good to go.

Brother, I could not get my hands on AGS tonic, I have asked many shop keepers but unfortunately they did not had it. I will search and test every battery water available in Pakistan and will post the results here.

Above tests done had a very disappointing result, I wish if someone can bring this into notice of enforcing authority so that they may raid and impose a heavy penalty on them for fooling the public.

I will try to buy the water available at Shalimar.

Results were outstanding with TDS value of 03ppm and values were consistent once tested on every sample.

i purchased 100 liters from them for Rs. 900 only and most of it will be consumed during this financial year as one cannot reject immediate family members.

I have 180 AH battery what should be ideal charging rate and i guess my inverter cutoff is around 13.6V

cut off should be 14.0-14.2v and charging rate should be real amps/10.

TDS of AC drain water will be different for every sample because it depends how much dirt is in the drain water, some times TDS is around 50 and sometimes 250 too

Cut offs for any battery no matter what capacity it is should always be no more than 14.2v

13.8 is acceptable. 13.6 is kind of battery being undercharged or you may say not properly charged.
13.4 is exactly said to be an under charged battery actually.

today i prepared electrolyte..
poured 6 ltr of water in a plastic tub..
poured half a mug of sulphuric acid into water .. was prety nice explosion.. i had wrapped a chaddar around my face and wore bike helmet.
was wearing leater shoes and some gatha was wrapped around it..
on my chest lakri ki paiti ka tukray lagaya tha..
hand/arm was inside thick 4 fold bhori ...
i poured thrice almost half a muga of acid on water .. on first two ocations it would burst severly .. and after every pour of acid temperature of water was hot .. couldnt touch the plastic container for more then 4-5 seconds..
it would cool after 30 minutes to 1 hour to reasonable temp before pouring more acid..

at the end i successfully prepared 6 ltr of electrolyte (without any injury ) from 6 ltr water (rest evaporated probably and some was wasted as well ).. sg is 1280 as of now .. will adjust tommorrow .. and let it under observation for few days before pouring it in battery.

how much electrolyte is needed for a 175 ah battery and 215 ah battery ?

i intend to buy phoenix 175 or 215 ah battery ..

Sulphuric Acid is very dangerous be very cautios whne using it.
