You have to call him personally. I just left him now. Going back to Multan. And he is sick these days so cannot tell you exact price or dont even know whether he would bother making small one due to being sick. And fiber or metal. He doesnt put sine wave. But sinewave is used where a computer is needed to keep working without restarting whe light goes off. His UPS gives the same function. Only difference of his ups and sine wave is ceiling fans dont make noise on pure sinewave. Negligible difference. But more functions and cheaper compared to pure sinewave.

Yes bro, being hobbyist I know what sine wave is and that's why asked about it. Its not only matter of computer not restarting and fan not producing humming noise but sine wave is far more superior than square or modified square no matter how good they are.
Some ups guys install a sine wave kit so to produce sinewave pulses which are then fed to the kit to produce sine wave electricity at the output. thats why asked.

As far as his ups is concerned. You won't need sinewave or whatever sinewave does. His ups can do that. He is sick these days. I will make a list of functions of his product soon. in sha Allah. I'm also busy in exam coming up in April. Remember me in your prayers big brother.

Near Rehman pura chowk there is a UPS guy who only build Sine Wave UPS, he is asking around Rs.11500 for single battery Sine wave UPS but his attitude is very unfriendly you ask 2 questions he's gonna reply one and even that reply will not be a complete answer

Long story short I ask him if this Sive wave kit allows Parameter setting he said yes but there are no on board variables only he can set it by attaching another kit with it (he also pointed toward that kit which was just a small locally made pcb with 4 buttons)

but he refused to install it permanently for me neither he agreed to teach how to do it yourself , Therefore I didn't place my order,

What a Chu**tya attitude I even offered him money for this extra service but that D**k head still refused.

hmmm... can you point out his location? There are so many ups guys these days and now season is coming so more will come up as "barsati dadoo ". I got made my ups almost 4 years ago from a guy on the road which goes from rehmanpura chowk to javaid market at the corner of street before ali estates. He was somewhat fair guy.
But I also observed no one is willing to give you the information as they wanna keep it to them.

By the way as my battery finally gave birth to a dead cell after exact 3 years (purchase on Feb 2015) so replaced with Phoenix UGS 175 this time. Went through the whole procedure of adjusting amps, batt full and fix volt output settings again. Lets see how it goes.

Yes you are right I just realised that The road from Rehman Pura chowk toward Javed Market has many UPS shops

This SHOP which I am talking about is on same road from Ali Estate it is just 20 to 30 meters away on right hand (toward javed market ) you can't miss it because of its size

it is a relatively big shop and you will only see a ton of local UPS there , no other stuff , He doesn't seems like a barsati dadu

His kit seems readymade it is bigger in size than IC104 types but he prepares Transformer himself and also installs heatsinks and there were 3 big heatsinks on control kit alone,

I will try one more time to approach him because in Rs.11500 a sine wave UPS sounds like a good deal but without configuration kit it is useless for me

Any idea about parameter settings for this supposedly Sine wave UPS kit? the structure of this UPS is apparently simpler, there is no separate module, everything is on this kit and transformer thats all. But the problem is shopkeeper is not agreeing to share parameter setting procedure, the kit manufacturer is "UT POWER"

I dont think, this kit has variable resistors, least, i cannot see them, which implies, that it comes adjusted from factory and one cannot not manually change it other other then what LCD allows.

I am going to buy inverex UPS from their office in Lahore (near packages mall).

I want to go for phoenix battery, any suggestions where to buy it from?
I also plan to buy electrolyte from pyrochem and take it to battery dealer for filling. Will it affect the battery warranty?

Lastly, i am living in a 5 marla lower portion so 1 bedroom, lounge and drawing room. Which size should i go for as UGS175 might be too big for my need. Phoenix has following options in UGS series: 55, 90, 125, 140, 175, 220.
Also note i don't want the battery to be too small as some time electricity breakdown takes couple of hours to fix so i need at least 4 hours backup on one fan and light

I am buying batteries from Fazal batteries ferozpur road near shah jamal. thye are dealers of phoenix and I never needed pyro as their mixture works well and my batteries last for atleast 3 years easily.
UGS175 would be ideal to accommodate unplanned long loadshedding hours as mine used to last up to 9 hours with 1 fan and 2-3 lights.

I have bought inverex 720Watt. It has option to charge at 10A or 20A. I bought phoenix UGS125 as UGS175 seemed too big.

Bought battery from City UPS ferozepur road for 9300 (without acid) price seems high? He said UGS175 is for 13k whereas last year i bought UGS175 from Islamabad for 11500. He said prices are increased.... This City UPS is on list of dealers on phoenix website.
UPS was bought from inverex outlet DHA Lahore for PKR 13000, i think they overcharged me as same UPS was available for 12k (asking price) at City UPS.

I just bought Phoenix UGS 175 Battery. I have used electrolyte from pyro Chemical. Kindly guide me,

1. what value should I set for High Cut Off Voltage? Ups guy told me to set it to 14.20.

2. Its 3 step trickle charging card. What value should I set for charging rate. Battery values are as follows:
   AH 20Hr -- > 135
   AH 5Hr -- > 108

I will highly appreciate your help.

I have bought the Phoenix UGS 175 for Rs. 12,000 (without Electrolyte and exchanged old Phoenix UGS 165 and actually paid Rs.9,000 Only ) on 26 march 2018. There asking price was Rs.13,000.

I have googled "Phoenix UGS 175 price", pricecity quoted Rs.12,000 and batterylala Rs.10,400.

Set your charging rate of ups to 10A as 20A is too high. Still I would like senior and experienced members to have final say on that.

My battery keep dropping volts. Although cut off is 14 and ups do stops at 14 but when ups stops battery start dropping volts and ups don't start charging.

Definitely something wrong with ups card that is why it don't start charging again. I will get new card.

My question is why battery dropping volts? Is it normally how new battery behaves? Going through several cycles of dropping volts and charging again until battery have stable 14 volts.?

Battery wala have put my new battery on charging for only 2 hours and it was on 12.5 volts when i bring it home. Is it some how reasons for battery to drop volts ?
