On a serious note, I have taken RP and gs150 to its limit on multiple trips. So I can say with quite confidence that both bikes are similar in performance. However, not only is RP a little cheaper but it is also has much more features than gs150. And while suzuki continued to downgrade its quality, Ravi removed faults from its bikes. The 2013 models are much much better than 2013 models of gs150.

It is normal for a gs150 to have its engine timing chain replaced at around 12000kms to 15000kms.

Also how much originial one will cost??
how much Km on your GS odometer and how many times have you replaced this timing chain???

That's excatly i was trying to quote that he is rumoring this on communication level not on practical level, we and the other owner of GS150 has never got this issue LOL :S ... He is misguiding peoples through his misconceptions

Original timing chain costs rs.950 and is not easily/readily available. China one costs rs.250. I replaced it once till now at 15000 kms. Bike has run around 17000kms. Other fellow riders also changed these around after 12000 kms to 15000 kms. You will need to change the timing change when it will start making a tick tick sound. That is the earliest sign of a timing chain that needs replacement. I would personally recommend to change the timing chain at the earliest symptom else if the timing chain breaks it will seriously damage the engine, and I mean seriously damage the engine.

Another part which goes bad between 15000 kms and 20000 kms is the chain garari set. Mine is just okay for now. But I will have to change it before my next trip.

Since you are a sensible guy I will reply to you in a sensible way. You know I am not going to win any reward by praising gs150 or by putting it down. My main purpose here is to share. No one on pw will buy gs150 or ravi 125 just because I say so Every bike has its advantages and disadvantages. The fact that I continue to do trips on my gs150 is because it has best torque in local bikes. There are many other technical details as well which you can pm me if you are interested.

They are going to launch their bikes soon but ... first I must ... put down gs150 as it stands tall between the good and the evil. Bro till now they only gave me a ravi humsafar 70 But they said that when I will single handedly bring down sales of gs150 then i will be given a ravi 125
I have also one key chain from them and some tissue papers ... actually i just have the key chain. Truth be told, i stole that box of tissues the last time i was at there office

This is not an exceptional case this is one of the major reason one can see so many GS150 used for sale in Mcloed Road under 30k price even not very old models. but please my friend dont feel offended If paiggio had a chain cover issue evey body admits it , if it is chinese every body admits it... there is no shame in accepting what limitations a certain bike has ... may be its ur bike which is exceptionally good enough ? no?

can you tell me are the parts easily available at Suzuki service center ?

Yes, parts are easily available, but not in bulk quantities. PakSuzuki keeps the bulk of their spares at Karachi and the service centres keep a minimal count of spares. If a certain part is out of stock, they order it from Karachi. Usually it takes one or two working day(s) to get parts from Karachi. So, it often depends on the user's luck.

I have used my GS150 for over 20,000 kms but haven't changed the cam chain, drive chain/sprocket set or rear tyre. The cam chain tension required adjustment at around 16,000kms or 18,000kms, easy, external procedure. I have noticed that the drive chain requires almost twice as much cleaning and oiling compared to most Pakistani bikes with fully enclosed drive chain casings.
