Chances are high that the charger is faulty. Try buying a chinese one of max 300-400 rupees. And try using it.

The meter is from the old version, he has the upgraded car.

How did you know? What's the difference?

Color is different. New meter doesn't have this killi control. Steering controls are used to control the IMID.

It has the killi control (push stick) on the side.
To reset the trip meter it is used. For all other things steering controls are used.

Yes the killi is now used for trip meter only. Previous Models had all controls via tha killi. This new meter forced them to give steering controls in basic altis as well now[emoji14]

I have already changed it to pioneer 8750bt for my Audio build.

And what is its size? I asked toyota representatives yesterday about upgrading it to something newer or bigger in size but he said sir this ride has immobilizer and you can't change or remove console.

Sir immobolizer is inside the ECU , in the front fascia there is only the light of immobolizer.
Luckily the fascia kit for fitting the pioneer headunit i got was with the cutting of that immobolizer light. So immobolizer light is still there.

Yes resolution of pioneer is higher but its sound quality is way way above the headunit given in grande. All the steering controls also work without needing any adapter

Pionner is round about 60k and the fascia kit you can find in 4k max.
