@makhdoom123 since you know so much about LM oils and regular conventional oils, would you recommend if i use 10W40 for my Suzuki Alto PKDM 1000 cc.

the car is in prestine condition, 45k driven and its a 2011 model.

i wanted to use LM 10W40 for it but i was unsure to get a fancy oil for this car.

i am using shell 10w40 at the moment. getting around 12-13 local driving in city with AC.

would you recommend ceratec and LM 10W40 for my minion?

LM is a good oil , if you wanna go for liqui moly 10w40 go for it. But skip ceratec for a moment. Change the oil to LM and see the performance difference. Having said that Shell is also a great oil and a lot of people are using it. one downside of LM is it is expensive so try it out and see what happens

I agree LM is a good oil. I was using it in my gli for 150,000km. All of the sudden LM 20w50 wasn't available so switched to mobil 20w50

Firstly congratulations on your car look beautiful ma shaa allah. My father also has Corolla but 1.6 Altis variant and feels much better on upgrading from Honda City 2007. I have Honda Civic 2002 btw. I wanted to ask you something regarding LM oil.
I bought Civic 2002 recently and old owner was using Shell 5w40 fully synthetic and i was getting 11-12Km/L with that oil. On my first oil change i got oil changed from Local shell pump and poured 10w-30 (Shell guy recommend me and said its best for summers ). I have experienced a sudden drop in mileage to 9Km/L. So i wanted to ask you which oil should i got for next?. After reading your post i think i should go for LM 5w-40 or LM 5w-30 what do you say?Which is better?(any experience) My car has done 144k on ODO. Also about ceratec oil additive should i use it how much difference it makes? Also about the air filter from where you bought it? is OEM filter recommended or this one (KnB)? Lastly from where you bought LM original product in Isb/Rwp i searched alot but i don't think so they sell online like zic. My main concern is Fuel efficiency as i drive it all the time, my cars pick is good Alhamdulilah. Sorry for too much questions i hope you don't mind it

The Properties of synthetic oil is different from simple oil , i guess that is why you experienced a sudden change in the behavior of the car. Switch back to 5w40 fully synthetic. Sometimes you should not switch to any oil if you are satisfied with the performance. Try using 5w40 fully syn of liqui moly , its a really good oil but costs round about 4800.
I am shocked to know you cant find liqui moly dealers in ISb/RWP. The official distribution of liqui moly is in I-8 and i buy my stuff from pearl lube gt road , they are official distributor and sell genuine stuff.
About the airfilter , any other air filter except the oem one is not recommened by the company. I am trying out the airfilter and will see its performance in the Long run and give a review after 5k kms. Then i will decide if i wanna keep using k&n or i want to switch back to oem filter. Because there are a lot of different aspects , as dust and petrol quality in pakistan is worst , it may affect the air filter performance in long run and oem filter might be better then this k&n filter . So wait till i write a review on it.

Till first oil change you wont be getting any good milage. Change your first oil to toyota petron plus 10w30 qt 2000kms and reset the average meter.
More over during first 1000 kms do give your car a run till 180kmph twice. It will ensure proper breakin and milage will also increase. My friend gave it two runs tull 210kmph twice during first 2000 kms and is experiencing .higher average

I am using a cover which is thick and has fur type white material on inside.
Costs 2k to 2.5k

To make sure your car does not get scratches the body of car and the internal side of the cover should always be dust free.

congrats for having this nice car brother... you look quite a fan of toyota and ve adequate knowledge and grip n the behicle i would request you or any one using this forum to guide me in selection of colour keeping pakistani environments and resale value........i was confuse among altis 1.6 and altis 1,8 but then made u my mind n booked a grande cvt i in silver colour which is not medium silver but known as silver metallic only available in 1.8 variants but people say go for super white as it has its own grace and resale value so i thought to change the colour by approaching my dealer as car delivery is some where in mid august i would request a candit opinion from u regards shakeel

One of my friend has bought new grande in silver and he is not satisfied with the color. Because its a little dull.
I will also suggest you to change the color to Super white or black. As they both have great resale value. Superwhite has the maximum resale value.

True that, medium silver was much better than this 1D4 silky silver.
You have made the right decision of going with super white. It got its own decency and grace.

If you're talking about within city mileage than 11-13km/l is normal.
