Finaly after 3 long hours reached our rest house Behari Banglow..we were so tired that we lay on the grass...out side the rest house..i was even unable to get up & go inside..soft grass was so comfertable that even cant a molty foam.horse riding for the entire day was back breaking,,

Plz repeat your question....if u ask for the rout of ansoo lake...same trail contnues till ansoo lake but we were unable to go further due to heavy snow on the top

the next morning we wake up early.
having break fast we took few pics around behari banglow & the beautiful Manoor valley....Shahnawaz (the jeep driver) opened the top so we can take better views...medaows & forest around behari banglow were awsome...pics speaks themselves

Manoor valley is a piece of heaven..remote...quite..pieceful..& unforgetable......

Finaly we reached Mahandri...sitting in front of Kunhar view hotel & reading the information available on the local travel guide written by a Flick friend Aamir....

in current tour we stayed at PMA hutts Naran

Visited Saif Ul Malook,lalazar top, Jalkhad, Some part of Noori Nar Top (as was closed due to heavy snow fall )

in current tour we were very lucky to eat trout, dumba karahi and chicken every night...camp fire every night & enjoyed the cool weather of Naran

And Personaly I feel the trip will be incomplete if i will not upload the legendary Saif Ul Malook lake Pictures..so here it come....

Janab Offroad bhai,
I was wondering what make/model is the gun on the left (the darker one) in your last picture? It looks nice with the ergonomic grip and all.

Secondly, I'm assuming one needs the MoI license to travel with a firearm all over Pakistan as opposed to provincial authority licenses. Did you need anything else, e.g. some sort of permit, to carry the guns around?

Third, are the areas you visited safe for common people (like myself :P) who are not well armed?

The black grip hand gun is a 9mm Taurus.Its Made in Brazil with a leather grip.Yes u need an all pakistan Arms licence issued by ministry of interior (which i pocess for all of my weapons)to carry your fire arm along.One needs a special permit only in case section 144 is imposed,Other wise no issue to carry your weapon.

The ares i visited in above picture is Naran valley/Manoor Valley/Noori top & its absolutly safe to travel in these ares even with family.We use to do camping & fishing in remote areas of above valley so for personal safety from any mishap I use to carry my hand gun always.

fahad bhai how much time does any body requires to reach ansoo lake from manoor top??
what type of trek is ahead from manoor galli to ansoo lake??
can a person reach ansoo lake from manoor top on his own foot??

Its not a Glock..its a 9mm Taurus (Brazil Made) & the complete silver one is a Chinese Mauser 30 bore AKA TT pictol.

Yes 1 can reach Ansoo lake from Manoor Top.It will be another 2 Hours trek...The last spot where we were standing is Parellel to ANsoo lake & same trail continues till Ansoo Lake.We didnt attemt it due to snow (as shown in pictures) but now recently one of my friends did the trek from same rout & he said there is not more snow till ansoo lake.
And yes one can go on foot from Behari Banglow (Last Jeepable spot of Manur Valley) to Ansoo Lake & than to Saif Ul Malook Lake.In this rout i will recomend few things.

1-Take a local guide along with you from Behari Banglow.

2-1 night camp at Manoor top or some where near it.Before the Dheer Top (Manoor Top) a small basti of Bakerwals come (about 30 mins) before reahing the top.Water, shelter is available there.One can easily camp there & its safe.

3-Take camping gear like sleeping bags,food items , energy drinks with you.No need to carry water as plenty of streams are in the way but carry a bottle so one carry water on the trail.

4-Plenty of wood is available on the trek for camp fire..but remember..water & wood is not available on Manoor Top...below top every thing is there....

5-Also carry walking sticks, weapon (a hand gun) if u have or at least a camping knife as this area is remote & i spotted two bears on the trail.Although they were not that close but u know its a remote area with a very dense forest.

6-Horses can also be arranged from behari banglow but for that u have to reach one day prior to arrange them.We paid Rs:1700 per horse.
We took horses as I cant walk due to injury & most of the group were non trekers.

And one can also attempt tyhis trek from Kaghan Side.
Rout will be Kaghan to Mulkhain (town) Kach Gali Pass.Than climb Manoor Top also known as Dheer by locals..than same trail to Ansoo Lake & than Saif Ul Malook...
But as didnt did that so have no idea from Kach Gali side..but Mulkhain Town as beautiful..green medaows & flowers all around..Mulkhian is about 2 hours Jeep trek from Kaghan..there is also another trail in that area which ends up on shingri Top .....
