Sure let me add some google map image for a better understanding. There was a much better and cleaner way but mistakenly we went through this way and enjoyed doing some off roading.

Not mistakenly Bilal but delibrately. We wanted to travel close to the border on a less travelled route. It was certainly more rewarding and we saw the historic Tawi river and villages like Chamb and Tanda.

Afterall max pleasure is in travelling and not the destination.

jhandi chotra is most visited place here because of shrine of shadi shaheed at top of the hill,you missed to visit laadian by going through tanda side.

The route was somewhat like:
Lahore, Gugranwala, Sialkot, head marala, Tanda, Bhimber, Jhandi chakotra, baghsar, Samahni, mirpur, sara-e-alamgir, Lahore.

For better route will share google maps when I get to my computer...

And one more thing to add: total round trip from Lahore to Lahore was around 600km. So, no worries of traveling too much in this trip.

February 3rd, Sunday
Lahore ?Gujrat-Bhimbar-Baghsar (195 kms)
Night stay at Baghsar on the banks of lake or fort. (If unable to get permission from the army, then we can stay in Samahini or another resthouse before Baghsar). Camp fire and Bar BQ.

February 4th, Monday (70kms)
We take the longer route along the LOC. Drive through Pir Galli and Pir Kodi Cross to reach Mirpur AK. Camp at MR after city tour and visit to the lake with boating.

February 5th, Tuesday. (220kms)
Participate in the Kashmir day celebrations and return to Lahore via Mangla and Dina

For day One i.e. 3rd Feb, we used the following route:
