1G is a very good motor. i am planning to swap the same motor in my MKII as well. I have 3S in my other MKII... do you mind quoting the price of the engine?

Good to see you have got rare power steering box. Use Type A steering/ATF oil in it.. mostly DXIII type ATF available in the market. Wagnor or STP still sell this type of ATF... this steering box is rare and its very difficult to find its seals once leaked... take care of it.

One more thing have you check the Sub frame mounts (Gardri Bushes in local slang)? you will not enjoy its ride if they are rotten... and they are also very very rare to find.. go for Japanese bushes or VT and Hercules can do the job... if you need one do let me know..

thanks bhai .... i already repair whole suspension when i purchase this car and use mostly rubber parts of thy made ............i bought 1G at very reasonable low price engine with auto gear just Rs 43000/= now swap is complete and speedometer is in progress , upload pics of meter when its complete......bhai i need rear lights can u find set for me if possible also looking for headlights of bmw to put them in my mark 2 i hv also seen pics of ur blue1 ....... and i want to see ur both cars in coming days . planing to visit peshawar ...... i have set of rear lights of 2 door model but it can not fix in 4 door so i want to sell them ...........plz mail me ur cell no i wana talk with u my email is atif_shah101@hotmail.com.....r still in search for any body parts if find ..............

finaly get whole trim set of my car these original trims are impossible to find in pakistan so i chase a fabricator who made them by hand in steel , although these are not made like original but we can compare with original ......... today we finished fabrication and sent them for final polish(H)

yes in lahore near lahore hotel an old man made these trims but it took 3 months coz all were made by hand and made from steel ......... yes ansar bhai all welding spots be removed from polish not with chrome, show u when got them..............i have no issue for bearings mine r going well .....................

I haven't found any such grease meant for disc brake bearings (the one you suggested)
Mobil XHP222 is available with one shopkeeper... i don't know if it is good for the tapered bearings..

tech details are as follow.

will it serve my purpose?
