Mark II 73,Restoration

Sir restore original one of my neighbours have a 73 mark II as u might have seen it
most of the time its parked in shell pump near FC plaza
and he also wasn't able to find a good dash insted that car has 88 rolla dash which doesn't sutis it all and he tempred with looks kinda making it like a toyota challenger
if some one is not able to rapair dash in shoba try saddar as well

Dr. bro i will suggest do not go for 16-17 size of rims. 15 is quite good. I will strongly suggest reconsider the decision of Metallic Black color! very very difficult to achieve wave-less body of such an old car, and on black color even a small ding become prominent.

@ekdrifter, yes you are right.As i mentiond earlier, will keep it simple.You are talking about this beast.But for last few days it disappeared.Good work has been done but tempered alot.Even steering wheel of some 4x4 jeep or something installed.Seats are not suiting.

@goshawk; reconsider ur coloring option as already pointed out by @ansarghani it will b very difficult 2 get the full metallic look out of it easily. Moreover it is also very difficult to keep it clean. At the end of the day u have 2 decide the final color but go 4 a wise option dude...

In my opinion the best looking rims are on the light blue one (2nd pic on my last post). The wheel arches of MKII are not so big to accommodate/suit big rims. The pic you have posted (modified MKII) you can notice that the wheel arches have almost no space left still, and the car is like a feet high from the ground... hope you understand my point.

The one on the Oracle's orange MKII (the orange coupe) are also on my wish list... really beautiful but extremely expansive..

well this is a beast technically having a 2JZ under the hood but this car is far from finished and its been sent to workshop again this thing had braking issues and belive me this car has 3 years of work on it and alot of $$$ spent but still not my cup of tea,
well i liked few things in this ride esp if u seen closely front lights they are projectors the owner says they are of BMW, but i think if u can find them they will do much for the looks

Thank you all for time.Especially Ansar bhai.these pictures sometime makes e disappoint.As my car is in bad condition.I won be able to bring it even closer to it.How beautiful these are.All colours are phenomenal looking.Me drooling for such beauty.How simple and awesome.Regarding colur and rims,,,,me confused alot.Very difficult to collect items for these old cars..Any how me will keep it as a daily drive so will bring at least to some good condition.Regards

Normal MKII sedans had a pocket or slot for cassette player installation.

Top of the line sedans had factroy fitted Cassette player.

Bro thats near to impossible to find a dash board in such a condition. anyway if i found one, i will let you know.
