Wel, Brothers, this was my litle effort to restore it to a level so that i can drive it in routine. I am not car guru not a turbo sound (artificial) lover, but to bring it in simple form. Thanks for inspiration. I committed blunders but still my Mark II is alive. Thanks God. Your suggestions are welcom. Have nice time. Once agin thank you all. Love for all, Hatred for none.

but remove those silver strips doesnt look good.
Remove plastic from inside door poshish
and get the dash cleaned!!

Thank you for posting the great pictures! your masha Allah looking really nice but needs a bit tweaking.. as a few members have mentioned that remove the plastic chrome strips from the edges of bonnet, door and the trunk..

masha Allah what a clean central console you have got!!!! i want one for my MKII too.. it was least expected to be found in shoba... what happened to your old one? i might need that if you want to sell.. can you tell me the rough location of the shop from where you have bought the console? he might have some bits of dashboard lying in his godown..

an effort well done...
3S-FE is a smart choice to go with this car...
find a nice clean dash....
though its difficult to find but give a try for original mirrors....remove these alto/charade mirrors fom MK-2
the looks wil drastically change once she is restored with her originals...

just have a look on my 72 ride and these old grannies look the best in thier orginal form.....
get member ship of rollaclub.com and u will find a lot of help from that place....

@bluespark, this plastic was put because lot of rapair was done on inside door. I am afraid it will fade away. Dashbord needs ovrhauling yes , you are right. Thanks for comments

@ansarghani, i bought it with Jumakhan, behind banusee market. One person told me two months back , i will ask him. Mine was also broken then i took some parts from old one and repaired it myself.

You have done a great job with the console.... that center clock in the console came with the console???

It seems your car is not having original springs... you can buy a set very cheap (depending on availability). I bought a set (4 Springs) 2 years ago for just Rs. 1400. I will ask that shopkeeper when I'll go to shoba.

You can cut your current springs, no harm in it. 1 or 1.5 ring is enough. I have chopped down springs of my Yellow MKII.. I feel the ride has become a bit softer too..
