why did u use ball fiber in the woofer enclosure? nice car btw i have jbl gto orignal speakers ,they sound awesome so i can guess what a powerful sq system u have in that x!

Jee sir these are the same pods i built for the Morel tweets, the JBL tweets are 1 inch tweets but have a different housing, so had to do a little work on that to make the JBL Titanium tweets fit in

As far as the ball fiber is concerned, although there is a very large thread about it at PW but i will keep it to the point and simple.

The ball fiber or any sound absorbing material, either lined or stuffed is to absorb the destructive waves produced by the woofer inside the enclosure. Eliminating or reducing these destructive waves greatly improves the overall all response and performance of the subwoofer.

Using Mcintosh MC431 for the components. Powering midbass drivers and the tweets separately (Active)

For the sub amp i am using Harman Kardon CA1500M. Very good sub amp, happy and satisfied

Sir excellent as usual and excellent mix and match of goodies like always....
tweets looking so good in pods and pre is too good plus all the usb and ipod functionality
alaaaa sir ... so what diff in sound did u notice as compare to focal setup and previous morel setup
i assume this would be the most neutral sounding setup with excellent clarity as compare to previous
setups but this is just my assumption based on my JBL 6 by 9 experience...

Shukriya Sir the Mcintosh is a 4 channel amp, powering Midbass drivers with 2 channels and the tweets on the remaining 2 channels. Not using the passive XO.

Thank you so much Sir Aab to ramzan bhee khatam and thoora yahan ka mosam bhee behtar ho gaya hay. Temperature to kam hay but humidity sometimes goes up to 95%

Thank you so much Khurram Bhai Jee Sir 80PRS is doing its job right, love the ipod and USB functionality. Also what i like about it is the .WAV playback over USB .

Sir if Focal being bright and Morel being laid back, yes i can call these JBL to be neutral. Sound is clear, and all the detail is there. Also what i like about them is the power handling capability, they seem to handle the power easily and i think will easily be able to handle twice the power which i am actually feeding them. They do not become harsh or distorted if the volume is cranked up.

About the sub, well its very transparent and plays all sorts the frequencies accurately while being transparent, seems as if there is no sub installed in the car, while the rear view mirror is still shaking like hell

Like its said, "A good sub's presense is not heard but it's absence is felt".
