P.S. They havent mentioned SNR, THD, Damping Factor and above all its not CEA-2006 compliant cos CEA-2006 never mention maximum wattage they always mention RMS wattage of an amplifier.
yes thats it cea rating is like computerized design box , and you got a logo , and then you published on box
At all the Simplest way to calculate power is
Power=Voltage X Current
Power=12 opertating voltage x ( total number of fuse
Power=12 x (20x2)
P=12 x 40
power you get is 480Wrms
All we need is RMS - Continuous power
Peak power nevers considered
note : Some amplifier is also operated by 14.4V
and some by 16 , 18 , 20 etc
but normal is 12V
the solid audio is operated in between
12V ~ 14.4v
lets suppose Solid Audio f 47 (1200W) 4 ch
it have got 2 x 40A fuse rating
When you provide 12v
so easily calculate
Power=12v x ( 40x2)
Power=12v x 80a
Power=960Watts
it can also be operated on 14.4 volts
when an altenator provide 14.4V it gives
Power=14.4v X 80A
Power=1180Watts
if writted 1200W its for real unlike other amplifier
lets talk about mine amplifier valor VPA 1005
25Ax3 fuse and 12V operating voltage
so 75A X 12=900Watts
it can deliver 900Wrms
and written 2200Watts that LOLZZZ
People Never consider Peak power
CONSIDER WRMS ,rms, continous power (all are same )
THE PEAK POWER WRITTEN ON AMPLIFIER IS USE TO ATTRACT CONSTUMER , and this Fake number power written really fools peoples all over Pakistan
