I know what are yu talking about it must be a 728i instead 740il i have driven both beemer and merc E240 and 525i i am not biased because both were my own and from hard earned money but i sware i found beemer more interesting and powerfull..............

Anyway i think everyone has his own point of view........

Yes once i drove a S320 AMG it was good and still remember my brother had it and he use to love it.......

I guess i am not a merc fan.........But they are full of funky options....

I was wondering how come SLR was comparing 740 with 320 i bet that cars engine was messed up completly....I have driven 735i it is a good car with excellent powerfull motor in it.............

No offence but i think it was a bad experience by you which was because of some careless 4.0 8 cylinder BMW's owner who has kept such a machine in a state that it was be compared to a 3.2L 6 cylinder.....

You have u'r own opinion but after driving 3 BMW 740i's and stoplight race with one on Ittihad road, I'm sure I can kick thier butt any time, everytime.

We have a saying in Pukhto "Da Guzz Aao Da Maidan", which literally means "This is the Meter (for measurement), This is the Plot" or in easy words "Lets try it, now".

Whats you say... lets have a pink slip in between!

Most of the 740's in uae are actually 728's and 735's, people buy old models like 97 and 98 and get the lights, badges chaged so that they look like a 2001 model... and there is a huge performance difference between 740 and 735, 740 is actually 4396 cc which is basically 4.4L same engine in the earlier X5 models which produce 286 bhp but the newer 4.4L produce 320 bhp.

E320 can never beat a proper 740!!

i was saving sitting in both the eclipse and the TME for my next trip but it seems the buggers at MB are being very unprofessional, i've spoken to them a million times and sent CV after CV and they never reply but when i call they say "oh yes we were hoping to hear from you, but mrX etc is not here at the moment please cal lback, he woudl really like to speak to you"

I just sounds like people in Emarat....They have the same excuse everywhere if you even call an accounts dept for your payment te statndard asnwer is the signatory is no here in the city so the payment is not ready but your cheque is been made....(WHAT WILL A PERSON DO WITH A CHEQUE WITH NO SIGNATURE)

I remeber once i had to change the rear rim for my E240 and i booked it for a service and they gave me the service refernce and then when i went there they said oh you are not booked the number was of some Mr.XYZ and please call us tommorow and book again.

Merc dealers are making too much money in UAE so they have few unprofessional people with unprofessional attitude...

Dont worry big brother Sabar ka phal mitha hoo gay you will soon get what you deserve.....Otherwise you are always welcome for a visit here in Dubai...........
