the next step was the assembly of the differential unit , honestly before making this r/c i had absolutely no idea how does a differential looks like and how the gears functioned .

Parts for the differential unit assembly for the rear .

planetary gears assembled , greased and installed in its housing

unit assembled and closed and is ready to be installed in the drive housing

rear differential unit installed .

my first time cutting a lexan body , it was a challenge to get the wheel arches right , thanks to my rotary tool with a sanding bit , got the job done

could not wait to see the stance of the body with those wheels , just by putting the body on the chassis i was satisfied ...... Rx-7 does have beautiful curves and once been painted it will be more prominent

I can take a picture with the lights popped up , but to make them function properly i need a micro servo and a 3 Ch radio , honestly i don't want to spend my money after making the purchase of a Tamiya TA05 VDF , hobby expense exceeded by 2 folds
