See this is where Fahad's analogy of taking a girls picture and posting it for no apparent reason comes up again.

Doesn't matter if its a girl or a car; supposing a girl from your family is sitting on a park bench (again public property). Someone takes a picture, what would you do?

Then according to you, you have absolutely no right to remove the girls picture because she was sitting on public property in the public.

but if a guy takes pictures of a girl it will be against ethics it will be for his perverted reasons and stuff which is not legal at all either it is pakistan or USA.

We were at the scene when this happened, so lets put it this way, annoying, idiotic bystanders TOOK this picture despite us telling them not to.

So its not a consensual picture because

a) We did not consent to the people standing taking pictures
b) We told them not to yet they still did

how can to stop ppl from taking pictures at a public place which is not your property........

and if you saw ppl taking pictures then you should have taken the liberty of beating them up and snatching their phones....................

so if i have my cell phone (private property) dropped on road (public property) just to have an ******* walk pass by, pick up the phone and go through my messages and gallery, forward a joke or two to his phone and than leaves the phone ... that would be ethical?

As a civilized person, I cannot resort to doing that. I believe in being polite; although there were several of us and we could've ganged up on such people but we did not. If people don't have the decency to respect other's wishes, then they can do as they feel-- we would not resort to their level.

Respecting someones wishes (and something as simple as this) should not be such a big deal

To be honest, I wouldn't like my car all over internet too (specially the forums I am not aware of) Not me but one of my buyers have had bad experience. Remember my FQ400, that was number 45 and some IDIOT posted my eBay add all over MLR forums (very famous EVO forum of the UK). The car was non-recorded and after repairing, could've got sold for full price as accident wasn't documented. But my buyer (a friend too) lost 8000 pounds on that car because every Tom Dick and Harry knew that number 45 has been repaired due to some IDIOT posted my eBay add all over MLR forum saying beaware of number 45 FQ400. Now that's a P155 take to be honest, felt sorry for Lee (the guy who bought it off me) as he lost a lot of money due to someone posting it.

Therefore, to prevent that. I as a MOD would've moved this thread here and will do so for other cars in future too. Don't care about PDM cars, just imports only. and this is one rare import in Pak (correct me if I'm wrong)

Its not who do you know thing, in the past i have moved/deleted topics of (New) members who have mailed me, also many times non members mailed me to delete thier cars pix and i did it.

We are here to help each other, member or non member doesnt matter
If someone has issues we are here to help.
