Hello everyone,
Can anyone tell me the difference b/w Mazda RX-7 & RX-8. Also is Mazda RX-7 still in production or has it been replaced by RX-8?
Which one is better in terms of pickup, long, handling/braking and looks.
Regards.
both r plain rubbish cars..believe me..both have rotary engines which have a life span of not more than 3-4 yrs..plus an rx-8 is considered to be a girlie car
both awesome cars. rx8 is the best selling coupe in the uk currently. rx7 was designed to take on Porsche and da likes. Was more than a match for the 944/968. Rx8 replaced the rx7 though has gone downmarket. Rotary engines are a thing of beauty....smooth as silk and their compactness aids weight distribution. too complicated for ur everyday pakistani mechanic though
agree with @twisted2fit
@portage
thought youd b the first to shoot me down being a Porsche man. got a question for you ...would a 996 engine fit in a boxter? ive been contemplating it
why do you want to put 996 in a boxter first of all..we dont mess with engines or drive train......all the cars I buy are wrecked or damage........they all run and lot drive ..........so about swaping a engine of 996 in a boxter..you wont get your return on it..
yup others have said the same. thing is u can get an old boxter for 13k here , 996 engine for about 5k , labour about 3k. thought itd b a nice conversion:-) probaly buying a 996 makes more sense,
Hi,
Is RX7 still in production? or totally replaced by RX-8?
Replaced by Rx8 ...
Rx7 was 1800cc but Rx8 is 1300cc ...
Rx7 was designed for sort of racing and there was a model which was twin turbo and called Rx7 TypeR ...
But Rx8 is a sort of ladies car ... look like sports but not actually a sports car ...
bhai 1800cc rx7 ??? meri to 1300cc hai and all i have seen till now are 1300cc.
