I was really tired and in need of a shower. I wanted to stay at a good hotel. I called my IJC friends and they told me to go to Duikar which is further up ahead. Its a paved road that leads to Duikar but very steep. I reached to the top in about 20-25 minutes. There is only one hotel there Eagles Nest and it is a fantastic hotel with awesome view, 24-hour hot water, clean rooms. I went inside and they asked me if i have a reservation and i told them No. They asked me, how many people are there? and i said just me and he said no we dont have rooms. I was a little disappointed, it was nice hotel with perfect location. You can see whole Hunza from the balcony of your room. I came outside, made a few calls but to no avail. I went in again and " Dekho yaar main buhat duur se aya hoon aur pehli dafa aya hoon. Buhat thaka hua hon. Please kamray ka bandubast karo mujhay sirf aik raat rehna hai. Main kal chala jaonga" and it worked!!! Overall, people of Hunza are very nice people.
