1970s - Me and my Ride. When I got permission to self drive, Dad gave me this Willys. Did lots of off-roading on it. This picture is of the track from Ras Muari Lighthouse (Cape Monze) to Mubarak village, closed for public now.
I see it says welcome to Abbottabad in the background. Remember where exactly was this picture taken? Or have any other pictures of Abbottabad from that time ?

What engine did this Mercedes have? A friend of mine has a 78 240D in that body style, and it still feels as solid as a tank. Slow, but solid.
cute that you think a 240D is slow, try a 200D on W123 chassis - that is the definition of slow.
This was 230E Petrol.
