day 2

2 am woke up unscheduled ...the reason was a group of dogs fighting right in front of the hotel vigorously...the fight continued for half an hour or so...could hardly manage to sleep again.

4.30 am woke up again and was very happy to recall the dream i just saw...i saw myself trekking to miran jani and do you have any idea who was accompanying me ???. None other than the great chacha ji ( mustanser husain tarrar sahib):d .the first thought came into my my mind " wah.. Kya acha shagoon hai " ...couldn't sleep after that and got out of the bed at about 5.30 am...had a nice hot shower and shave ( which was not so perfect because of so much steam in the bath room ) and then getting ready for the trek..

Yes dear..All the pics have been taken using a 2 Mega pixel mobile camera and yes...Solo has its own charm...Kinda more adventurous feeling you have while doing a solo trip...

Not alone...The hotel staff was there...Now a days they have nothing else to do except watching movies late night on Zee TV

Before going to bed, called Amjad ( The guide recomended by Mubeen Bhai ) and he promised to be at my hotel 7.am next morning.
@ Mubeen Bhai You Won't believe the price he asked for his services. You recomended me to settle between 500-1000 and that guy asked for 3500 straight away:o...His last asking price was 1200 and my last offer was 800. The bargain continued for a good 15 minutes and then we left it undecided till next morning :)

The guide was needed not to show the trek since the is trek is very much clear and there are only a few chances of going towards the wrong way..But it was more important to have a guide for security reasons since it was off season and was a bit risky to go alone. At Night in Nathia Gali bazar , the police men suggested me not to go even with the guide since these days according to them the Miran Jani area is an ideal hideout for criminals but other local people said that its OK to go with a guide..

I did have a lighter Rashid Bhai..But at high altitude sometimes lighters don't work..Thats why the match boxes are there as an alternate You have no idea ke jab cigarette paas ho aur lighter kaam na karay to kaya feelings hoti hain..Only the smokers know well
