But still even after 17s the rear arch gap is huge still around 4 inches
215/55/R17 will make it better

I say they are looking awesome that gap is something with its design suspension config, its can only be covered by dropping the shocks. But I will not recommend this, the current status of the ride is nice for all roads, even if you get more friends or family members for ride it will work.

Yes you are absolutely right about that
It can only be reduced with lowering springs

But today i have installed 215/55/R17
It is looking much better now
The gap has reduced

As far as I remember last time you came here , I had Sabre ( 9th gen Civic ) and Predator ( Gun Metallic Corolla )
Well Predator stayed here for 17 months
But After 9th Gen Civic I have changed 5 cars and you have missed all those beautiful rides one was Red Mamba Reborn you must search that Thread I am sure you will love it
Also had a manual 11th gen Corolla in White ( same like your cars color ) then i went for probably the cleanest 7th Gen Civic of Khi later that was replaced by a Brandnew Facelift 2015 Honda City now Finally I have purchased another Gli Auto in Medium Silver ( Python ) and have installed really nice stuff AL HAMDULILLAH

Recently got these Dunlop Veuro ve 302 in 215/55/R17 after giving back Nankang 215/50/R17 in difference

These tyres are really really nice
Its difficult to compare these with Yokohama Advan Decibel and Michelin Primacy Hp since i have never used dbs or primacy in 17 inch size
But these are def Dunlop's best tyres for our roads n conditions
Soft , comfortable and really really silent
Grip is great too
Tested the car at 120 on a curved road the car felt very very stable
