Since you will be using it for routine family use , you can't do much , max u can get 16 Inch alloys n tyres
On 17 s car will become uncomfortable
But yes if have to drive within DHA only and can live with a bit hard ride
You can get lowering springs and 17 s alloys n tyres
It will become too hot n gorgeous !

The gap will really reduce
But ride will become a bit uncomfortable , plus there will be slight effect on acceleration as well
With 16 Inch the effect on acceleration is hardly noticeable according to my experience

I have the rims with tyres at UAE in my 97 model corolla 1.6 L 3 speed auto runs good I don't know about 1.3 L Corolla

Plus also add almost 2.5 hours of start engine with AC On

Secondly can you please confirm whether there is a light or slot for cruise control in the Optitron speedometer (Instrument Cluster) of 1.3 GLi Auto for those who are interested in installing an after market cruise control in this model. Or if you can post a high resolution image of the instrument cluster which can enable us to see all the lights and slots in the meter. I am saying this because the same speedo is used in some USDM corollas equipped with cruise control. Also the ECU of the engine in this trim (2NZ-FE) may support cruise control as it does in some models across the world (For example Toyota Yaris)

I don't really know what does it stand for
And I really don't know much about the different functions of all these players etc
But what I noticed
There are two different modes of audio , some thing like pre installed different equaliser modes you have in your cell phone
" Driver mode " not that loud but really clear with decent bass
" All PA X " a bit louder and somewhat surround effect
Vaps off which sounds the best if you have set the bass treble mid according to your taste

I still don't know why they advertised it so much

I am looking to buy Corolla Gli Auto 2014, just want to ask you tiny little things.

I own honda city 2014 1.5 Aspire Prosmatec which is very uncomfortable.

if you have driven a honda city, can you rate both city and new corolla as a comparison if new corolla suspension and seats are more comfortable please?

Plus upon buying this new corolla Gli, does tyres relatively need to be changed instantly the very same day, does that improve the comfort too?

i like to keep the car in stock mode, but would want to know what safety features needs to be necessarily be installed as this is the most stolen car in Islamabad.

hey thanks buddy but i dont want to add 17s wit low profile tires for daily use home car...but i ll try to get oem altis rims with better tires since we have booked auto Gli now m worried about the fuel average not going above 9km/L as it will driven by drivers most of the time

And
8 / 10 to Corolla

Acceleration and great pick is not the only criteria of choosing a car
And if that's something really important for someone then I agree 1500 cc aspires engine is better than 1.3 corollas engine

I have never kept / owned any city
But have driven a few times 1.3 city prosmatec
And this corolla in fact even previous model is much better than Honda City
We are just comparing these two cars on the basis of 1.3 Ltr engines rest there's no comparison between these two
Corolla is a much better car than city
Even better than upcoming new city
Go for it
You will love the car
But if you love to rev every other day
Ho for Altis auto
Or civic prosmatec
This gli auto also has quite nice acceleration
Goes to 140 without any issue yes sluggish if I compare it with my civic 1.8 but as compared to 1.5 Ltr wing road Nissan auto , 1.3 city auto , belta , vitz auto it feels better !
If you have driven 2005 civic auto , the Rpm range and setting , and acceleration of Gli Auto is somewhat like that
