Your seats are looking good am going to get same on my gli just i want to ask one question what about that black cloth on doors have changed them with leather aswell because am looking to replace them with leather because that cloth doesn't look good to me.

No I haven't changed that black fabric on the door trims , it feels good
I wouldn't adv to change that fabric with aftermarket fabric or leather
The original one has a good fit it's not loose and has a good life even after a rough use of 5 years it will stay there and has good adhesion
This after market one will start coming off and start peeling off in 6 months to 1 year max
It will have poor adhesive strength
I have experienced this with my 9th gen corolla and 7th gen civic

Anyway, any news about 1.6 Altis? As i heard it has delayed because our police has booked 1.6 Altis. So, IMC trying to complete this order first. This is what i have heard.

I fail to understand what are they doing
Full chrome grill is the main differentiating point between xli gli and Altis
But they are not giving full chrome grill in 1.6 Altis
Door handle chrome inserts is again a characteristic feature of Altis but they are not offering it in 1.6 Altis
Atleast these 2 should be there in Altis 1.6 otherwise it's useless calling that 1.6 Altis
They should give it some other name
Se Saloon ( Reborn lol )

This is what i have heard. Rest, i agree with you. Don't know what they are trying to do. Or launch it with GLI 1.6 instead of 1,6 Altis. Because there is no Altis feature in 1.6 Altis apart from alloy rims.

Not exactly the same android Navi unit
But it has 7 inch navigation dvd player
So it is basically a mix cocktail variant lol

A sales manager of one of the delearship ( my dad's friend ) was telling back in August that they are thinking to introduce " Se Saloon " again with 1.6 ltr engine
I told him that I already have the brochure with all the details of 1.6 version and IMC will name it as 1.6 altis but he said yes they got brochures printed with all details of 1.6 Altis
But now they are planning to introduce se saloon again and most probably it will be launched in November / December or even later
Personally I also think if they take any such step
It would be really nice and a direct competition for Aspire !

update on current mileage?

Mostly 10 to 10.5 within City
If i take signal free corridors then it increases to max 12.5
RPM remains mostly in eco zone that is max 3
However in first gear it sometimes crosses 3 and touches almost 3.2 k rpm
Obviously if i have to drive fast , but most of the time I try to stay in eco zone in 1st Gear too

btw these rims are common now i mean this particular design I have seen it many times on new civic
the design that i really loved for my ride was quite expensive 55 k for rims only 16 Inch
that's y I went for these , these were the best in my budget light weight and branded plus they look quite nice too

Actually the 1.3 variant is introduced first time si they r taking time to produce the vehicles...so if there are any faults they can remove...that is the main reason of less production of this variant

wanted to know about the ground clearance as i have to overcome lots of speed breakers
on daily basis...
