yes, indeed he is!! My car is booked for Dec delivery in Medium Silver Color (which might be changed as per the dealer) - I see new GLis everyday with different colors and my perception about them changes accordingly.. I liked gun metalllic few days back - in show room white looks amazing. Yesterday, I saw a brilliantly kept medium Silver so I might stick to it - I am not an avid car maintenance person but am learning from here about detailing and waxing stuff..

I booked mine gli auto on 4 sept and delivery month is jan 15. Booked in medium silver bcoz ive to use it in my village also once a week but 1 thing i honestly say is whenever i see ur car pic it always make me think of changing the colour. U got a good taste n ur car looks too good mashAllah.

Medium silver is a really nice color too
Much better than the silver shade of other brands
And the car looks best in medium silver with bodykit because the centre part of rear lip should be left black and shouldnt be painted
On medium silver it looks great
Whereas in my case i will.have to paint it in same gun metallic color
Med silver is easy to maintain
Has best resale
And looks impressive n decent ...

I have noticed its great for darker shades
Costs around 8 to 900 original one
Copies are available for 500

Now after hearing this , bodykit and other upgrades are a must .. Still tight on budget but saving slowly and gradually for the upgrades in month or two hopefully will get it done IN SHA ALLAH atleast the bodykit with trunk lip spoiler ..

My Gli Auto is giving me 10 kms/ltr
The routes are mostly korangi clifton and defence
Multiple stops
Ac on 95% of the time
Mixed driving style
Idling with ac on ( engine running car in P ) atleast 30 mins daily as my younger sister listen to her favourite songs and enjoys the new car in garage which badly affects the fuel avg obv
So if i avoid these things and drive is on long routes like going to airport / shah rahe faisal
The avg improves significantly and touches 12.5

I havent driven or used new manual Gli
But it will give slightly better figures say 1 to 2 km/ltr max

Acceleration wise too
It will def have an edge

While going for jumma prayer today
I saw a gun metallic manual gli
The guy went crazy and was driving so fast
The way the wheels spinned and the noise of screetching tyres after the signal went green made me feel it was an Altis lol
Obv i am not comparing it with 1.8
I am just telling it was Fast
Not underpowered at all ..

You should go for it
This new corolla is a complete departure from the old one
Fun to drive
Much more spacious inside which is the best part and soft comfortable ride
Feels much better than previous one and better than city too
Looks so dashing and stylish

You will just love it ..

while having seat in one of the parked one I felt that at driving seat my head very close to roof. My height is 5.11 while at seat the sun-wiser edges where in while my view ahead.

so me at a question: at driving seat is the roof low or close to ones head compared to the previous gen.

just got our GLi a/t medium silver...only waiting for registration n plate....few things I wanted to ask it got black carpet mat but doesn't look good quality one n its locking one...did u got aftermarket mat? for fog lights is it easy to install?

That guy gave the best offer of 25 k
But unfortunately he didnt have any variety in 16 n 17 so isliye i went straight to sky wheels at khalid bin waleed
He gave 22 k in difference for these
