Guys. I will be getting my GLI in mid December (IA) which branded Alloy rims and tires should i go for ? Plus what are the plus and minus points for choosing 16 or 17 size rims.

i asked same questions to the Toyota dealer i booked my car with. According to him the car came with 15 size in both GLI & Altis versions for a reason and was recommending only 15 size rims so i am confuse about the reasons and disadvantages to suspension etc after increasing the rim size.

I have seen this car many times now ..
Sadly its in a bad condition now
So many scratches small dents , i dont think in last 11 months any one waxed it even once and the fiber lip extensions have cracks and chipped off portions ..

If they really care about the customers and cars suspension they can atleast offer
215/55/R16
This is the ideal size for new corolla in 16 according to international forums and sites
Profile is good not bad but still due to car breakers and bad road conditions I went for 215/60/R16
The tyre has good profile
The arch gap is filled and looks good
I agree for 17 inch the size for corolla is 215/45/R17
This is really low profile and not for our roads !

No not changing the plugs or anything like that ..
But 0 to 100 timing will decrease by 3 seconds at present it is 17 seconds

So any more guesses ?

Have you checked it ?
Asking because its manual and previous gen xli / gli had around 13 seconds as far as i remember
