I have both GLi AT and Prius 1.8, GLi kafi mehengi lagti hai chalanay mein after driving Prius

Thanks. How is the ground clearance of Prius, does it hug speed breakers? Is it available in 1.8 and 1.5 and which one is better for fuel economy? Which model I should look for and avoid and what is the price range? Do Toyota 3S workshops maintain used imports Prius.

Prius is considerably lower in height than Corolla, with 2 passengers in the back seat I have to be really careful in areas with high speedbumps whereas in Corolla the same speedbumps are crossed with 3 passengers in back and 2 Nestle 19 litre bottles in the trunk at a very decent speed.
3rd Gen is only available in 1.8 unless you go for Prius Aqua which is similar to Vitz in size that is 1.5 I guess.
My 1.8 Prius yields 18-19 km/l easily when driven calmly, 1.8 one has the added advantage of more power in any situation, whether plain roads or mountainous areas, my car goes up to Monal with full load as well as AC turned on all the time and not even for a second lags in power Alhamdulillah.
As for maintenance if you buy a good graded vehicle from a reliable importer the only maintenance you'll need is oil change and if God forbid something unforseen happens then Nazir Autos in G-8 are in my view best in Islamabad for imported vehicles.

But still i think Gli Auto is a better option
As discussed in official corolla thread , price will be reduced on all variants lets assume
20 k reduction ..
So considering the price of Gli A/T which will be almost 3 to 8 lacs cheaper than prius and Brandnew ( depending on prius variant and model )

This New Corolla has excellent road Grip
I was going really fast yesterday on a two way road without any foot path / fence in the middle of that road and traffic coming from other side as well
Actually i was getting late and thats why had to drive fast
I was at 100 on a curve when another car came at high speed from front and infact entered my track / lane
I made a sharp turn at that speed and soon after avoiding that car hardly in a second the back tyres slipped slightly like as if it drifted , i released the brake pedal and focussed on the steering it came back in control infact it wasnt out of control
Excellent road grip first time ever , in a corolla

I still remember once same thing happened back in 2009 and i was in 7th gen civic
That car was at max 70 to 80 km/h
But still it went out of control badly and made 360 in the middle of that road twice and finally crashed into a nursery
Although only bumper got damaged and few deep scratches on driver side door but bicharay plant walay ki ducks toot gai theen lol

Pehle kabhi price nahi reduce hui except last year when they had to clear old stocks, I hope they're rumors.

To be on the safe side I went to the dealership from where the car was bought but I guess it will be okay if you go to any dealership, this is what the guy at the dealership told me.

Finally Manual one after 1st service today ..

There were no issues / problems in this one so just got the service done .. tail lights dont have much noticeable alignment issue like Gun Metallic so didnt ask them to fix it ..
