You summed up really nicely! Also to cut the story short there is no comparison of this car till now which is locally made. Grande is very much a competition to oriel and grande is faster than oriel but this one is something else! Really nicely written review from an owner.

Yes Grande might be slightly faster than 1.8 Ivtec , but still I would even prefer a Hardtop over Grande , Corolla simply lacks that X factor . New Civic is indeed a better car than any variant of Corolla even Grande

Every aspect was beautifully covered.
And and I am not a lover or hater of any brand but corolla simply is outdated now. I would prefer oriel anyday over Grande let alone turbo.
Corolla mai X factor aa hi nahi sakta due to zillion variants and dull driving dynamics.
Waqai civic X chaa gayi hai. It has resurrected civic from the mess of 9th gen. Honda has indeed outdone themselves.

Except for acceleration , performance and 3 to 4 more features / differences both are almost same cars , same cabin same comfort and same outstanding shape

And as far as Grande is concerned , i still have doubts , the videos that i saw were not proper drag race videos and if not properly launched at same second other car will def take lead ..
You have checked 0 to 100 of your Oriel and its exactly 9.6 seconds I dont think Grande's 0 to 100 is less than 9.6 ( correct me If I am wrong )

Mate, which one have you decided? Turbo or the 1.8?
If you are still undecided let me try to sway your opinion. Like I've told you before, I sold my Vezel and went for the 1.5T. My car hasn't arrived yet but my brother took delivery last week and believe me man, it just drives so much better than the Vezel. The fun factor is much higher. Floor it, and you'll have a smile on your face. Cruise around at low speeds, you'll feel relaxed and comfortable.

And for comparisons sake, my father has a Mercedes E250 (1.8L Turbo) and a Prado Tz.G (4.0L V6) and honestly I really believe the civic will give these two a run for their money to 100kmph. After that I know the other two will easily pull away especially the Mercedes because it just pulls very hard from 100-200 kmph.

I jumped straight from the Prado into the Civic turbo when we arrived home and driving it around just got me so excited. I can't wait to get my hands on my own Civic turbo.

Adrenaline rush / Mind Blowing Acceleration:

The car is full of driving pleasure
Civic's Fun to drive factor is back finally and at its peak ! Love the engine roar . The Car simply Loves to rev !
Really impressed never thought 1 day we would be driving such a fast locally assembled sedan in pakistan
The car is smooth at higher speeds and there is hardly any cabin noise but the moment you floor it be it any speed 20 , 40 , 60 whatever it just goes like a rocket and the engine roar feels so Nice .

I havent yet tested the full throttle and havent yet tried pedal to the metal scene , but even at 4 to 5k Rpm it is really really Fast !
Really love the long drives in DHA when many maniacs come from behind at breakneck speeds in Reborns , 9th gens , Grandes, vezels infact once even Tundra and then as soon as they are about to cross you just floor it and see the magic even at 4 to 5k rpms it smokes them all ( stock cars )
Within twinkle of an eye it goes to 100 + km/hr. It is indeed really fast than all other local cars infact even better than cars of higher class. no offence to any vezel owner here or CL9 or mark X 2.5 owner or even C180 or Audi A4 owner here but This one is really really fast and a winner in acceleration !

A True driver's car , whoever drives it falls in love with it . Gave it to my Dad last week for a test drive , he is a calm driver and usually drives really slow max at 60 to 70 km/h. But in Civic X just 3 to 4 mins after driving it he asked me if he can floor it I said obviously , then he floored it and went till 160 , I observed him really enjoying the drive he simply loved it and was really enjoying the response of turbo vtec . Even a guy in his Reborn tried to race once , but even dad smoked him with ease and then we looked down in the cluster we were doing 155 km/h.

To cut it short the acceleration is really awesome !

Brakes are really good like always !

FUEL AVERAGE :

Fuel average is good surprisingly ! With light foot ( almost impossible to control ) and Econ mode it shows 11.5 to 14 , but with fast driving without econ mode it falls down to 9.5 to 10

I drove my brothers turbo for 15 mins and I just smiled and told him that finally I have realized that selling my Vezel and booking the Civic turbo was the best decision of my life.
Quality issues aside, the drive is just so much better man.
Now I can't wait for mine to arrive. That surge man. Floor it and feel it. [emoji3]

Yes, as I shared the video anyone can check. 9.6 to be exact when put in the editor tool by a friend. But even if its some milli seconds slower than Grande, doesn't matter because the overall feel and experience is simply awesome.

Just on a brief note I can say: your review and as you said, Oriel feels the same apart from acceleration. The ride quality and everything else is same and obviously has to be same as PKDM Turbo and 1.8 have same everything else apart from engine and some accessories. Main difference being the spicy acceleration.

You definitely have to feel more smilier on the Turbo because another member @devilz_apprentice switched to 1.8 Oriel from his Vezel and according to him even he is happy letting his Vezel go for a 1.8 not even a Turbo

I will get civic X in the start of 2017.

And regarding Vezel... It is a pure class... And a crossover which has a different feel then a sedan.

But still for comparison I will surely do that myself else some people say vezel is better and some say civic. So I am not believing anyone.

Till then I am very satisfied with vezel and vezel has set a very high benchmark regarding quality, features and performance so let's see how civic satisfies me.

For variant I will try my best to get the turbo InshAllah.

True that. Initially I was a bit skeptical. With all these guys jumping around and blowing the quality issue way out of proportion.
Cabin noise? What cabin noise? I mean making fun of AGI and claiming that the window glass is of poor quality just because it is local made. Come on, the road/wind noise levels are completely fine, in fact maybe better than 9th gen.
Another one mentioned the rattling/creaking sounds from the dash. It's not there.

Yes the finishing is not up to the mark, I agree with that. But this was exaggerated for sure. Finally after owners have started to get deliveries we are getting proper real life feedback on the car.

Fair enough, you make a good point. Vezel was my daily driver for 6 months. I drove it 10,000km and I really liked it. Sweet machine. But I won't miss it once my Civic arrives inshaAllah.

mark x 250g can be easily smoked, cl9 too but not the euro r, and a4 too as a3 (smaller lighter than a4) 1.8 tfsi has 0-100 of 7 sec same as civic.

Yep, 1.8 t with better transmission > 1.5 t cvt. But for a pkdm civic turbo is a really nice one.
