Out of curiosity, may I ask what's the tyre pressure are you keeping in this beauties tyres, cause the other day I saw 32 written on front door pillar off one of the civic x I checked on "Honda point".

Yes Sir , 1.5T is a must for any Civic Lover
The tyres are 215/50/R17 and rim width is 8.5" offset 20
Currently 26 in all tyres

The lunar silver Civic had 30 I guess and stock tyres

Yes you are right 99% of the Continentals available here are from China or Malaysia ..
These are fresh 2016 tyres I dont remember exactly but it was not Germany , Malaysia or China . Will call him to confirm and then share

You can see the second video here where Lunar Silver 1.5T with Race Chip smokes mine after 146 km/hr
Again the same case initially it looses traction even with stock size and Michelin Primacy 3

What do you guys have to say regarding Racechip ? Can it cause any engine damage ? Would love to see experts commenting on it

I dont see any advantage of racechip in first 10 sec. I doubt that this difference is due to racechip. If both cars are in D modr then difference would be reduced.

Considering my old aged brain I would stay away from any such thing personally that could fiddle with software and ecu settings. Also the gain isn't exactly obvious.

Check Unichip page on facebook. They managed to have a gain of around 40-50hp with unichip. It also have 3 map setting which enables to drive car on simple fuel without any hassle.

26 to 28 is the recommended pressure
26 is even better for a more comfortable soft cushioning type effect on bumps
I dont know however if low pressure has some effect on acceleration ? Will it improve slightly if I increase this pressure to 28 ? What do you think

I have installed Advan Db (195/65/15) from day one in my 1.6 altis, I was keeping 28 in all tyres for soft drive on bumps but after few weeks, i thought of putting 30psi in all tyres, to my surprise car became so light and believe me shifting of gears became so smoth. I could hardly feel any jerk of 4 speed auto. so from that day onwards, i always keep 30 or sometimes 31 as well.
