The even coat ones have a slightly larger diameter and they havr a mf wrapped around them. I use them ti spread out interior detailer in my car but you can also use it for polishing compounding and even waxing. Works well with liquid waxes.
Another thing Im not sure about is that the even coat mf applicators increase the abrasiveness of a product slightly...
