as in that post i explained aggressiveness of different products
polish usualy have abrassives which very lightly cut the minor imperfections and polishing oils in it rapidly make the paint deep, dark , wet paint and remove dryness of paint while waxes wont have abrasives means like meguiars ultimate wax and meguiars $#26 wax wont have any abrasives nor any cleaners so can use these in routines
some waxes having mild cleaners in it, they wont cut the paint but cleanse the paint like meguiars cleaner wax is one of very good example and its #1 top selling cleaner wax in USA, its old product from meguiars which i think developed in 70's.
Cleaner waxes are essential specially for white paints s they become pale faster than other shades so cleaner wax once in 2 months or 1.5 month keep the fairness of white paints
