When we bought it its paint was hell rough even when i try to clean it with any cloth it takes alot of effort buttt now MASHALLAH its like butter smooth and shinny MASHALLAH

last 12 din se gari nahi wash ki thi bus new car kit ka wait kar raha tha and finaly got it today at 3:15.
I Had comitment with home minister but when i got parcel i cenceled it and faced heavy losses like many other poor husbands LOL.
I am new to this detailing department so i started washing my car at 3:45
1st: Wash and Wax.
2nd : Liquid wax.
3rd: Tyre detailing.
Being a new had done many mistakes and less equipment made more difficult.
Paa G after 2&1/2 hour m thak gya or interior detailing reh gai jo InshahAllah 1 2 din m ho jy gi.
After this process there is lot of difference in car may b u people dont feel much diff bcause when i took pics magrib ho chuki thi.
So here is my Black Beauty.

AOA just bought my very own first Mercedes-Benz, its a w203 2002 c200 compressor, now coming to the paint, it seems pretty good and hardly and swirls and was detailed professionally once also before in history and was maintained well from previous owner,

Ahmed bhai i would be needing a lot of help form you enchancing the paint further as i have no experience of these cars:P, but before paint i set to work on the healdights and taillights as they were hazy, and again MEGUIARS PLASTX amazed me in its ease of use and results, the headlights were polished by meguiarsa DA power system and yellow polishing pad, only took a few minutes and made a big difference, i had also clayed the headlights to remove some old bug marks and then plastx and then plastic safe sealant.

afterwards you could see properly, and even under flash no swirls on lenses


it made the tailights like brand new reflections were too good even form them

overall paint condition was really good here are some undetailed pics just as i got the car and it even had a thick layer of dust on it in the first two pics, the reason its good is that it was detailed professionally by the mercedes workshop where it goes for maintaiece, and they use Meguiars products i found out, precisely ultimate polish and ultimate wax, but they don't clay the car:/ so it goes to show even without proper prep or in the hands of novice Meguiars products do give really good protection to paint. the colour of the car is blue.

ofcourse i think we can take this paint to a whole another level, the quality seems too much better than the pkdm or jdm cars i have been working on, very limited no of swirls despite 12 year age and no orange peel at all! plus even on edges paint thickness feels better than my 06 altis!

bhai jan u have 2 options
1) mask/ hide swirls for temporary by Meguiars cleaner wax
2) remove swirls permanently by meguiars ultimate compound

well i would prefer first option as mashallah u have white car so cleaner wax is essential for periodic use to keep fairness of her white skin as well as mask minor imperfections

After cleaner wax apply ultimate wax ( i call this combo as "Fair & Lovely " combo for white cars :))

Do you have that combo (Meguiars Cleaner wax and Ultimate wax) in your stock?
Also, I have a 2000 model Khyber in its original paint. Over the years, its paint surface has become a bit rough and dull.
Got it polished from a denting/painting workshop, two years ago.
I think in that case, the cleaner wax would not work and I would have to use Ultimate Compound.
What are your thoughts on it?

Actually I saw Meguairs Odor Eliminator Mist which comes in small can. Its an air freshner and odor Eliminator also.

But I bought the plastic bottle which is only odor Eliminator no air freshner.

This is for old cars which has bad AC & Carpet smell.

For new cars Meguairs have odor Eliminator mist.

Please advise how to protect interior from sun light uv, car is exposed to sun light for whole day.

For exterior paint, I applied ultimate liquid wax, I like to add few more items:

1- Ultimate Polish
2- Cleaner Wax
3- Tire Gel
4- Interior protectant

Second question: Washing with pressure water/foam lance vs two bucket system.

With foam lance technique would we still need to clean dirt with hands or it all will come off?
I'm thinking to get foam lance/pressure water tools to make process fast, there 2 other old cars in home too which can benefit.

Mehran white... well not old.. it's Dec2013 and Liana 2007 Gold.. and then my brother's City silver 2010.. I like to give them a taste of my new hobby.. as they all are laughing at me due to no knowledge about "detailing"

many many congrats for having new ride, Mashallah seems in very beautiful condition. pls share complete car pics as well as interior. no doubt german paint quality one of best in world with hard ceramic coating and usually such hard ceramic coatings resist to swirls.

yes i am having meguiars cleaner wax in paste form rs1100 and be sure its 100% original imported from meguiars usa without involvment of any dealer or whole seller however i finish ultimate paste wax.
i am having meguiars new car kit which contain small bottle of ultimate liquid wax

about khyber , its 14 years old paint and must be thin now so i wont recommend you any abrssive like compounds so in my view car should be treated as follow

wash
claying
wash
polishing
finishing wax

instead of cutting paint try to mask imperfections now
