Mehran Experience Tips and suggestions

My fan is auto. The temp needle reaches the maximum green area which is approx 75% from C to H. Is it ok? Previously, fan was direct and needle remained just 10% deviated from C.

Thanks. So do you prefer if i change it to cdi? Will it help in starting of car faster?

It is a ff ac car. So 120-140km without ac right?

Also, i drove the car to ofc today direct from the seller - the gear lever is not moving nicely - the gear shift is not smooth. Maybe the gear oil is low. Also, brakes suck big time. It needs service.

Which oil do you recommend w.r.t karachi weather? Car is carby, and just 26k driven.

My mechanic said aap ko liana ki aadat hai thats why not comfortable with gear shift and brakes. Liana me brake boosters hain jab k mehran me tou....

@ekdrifter my mehran shuts of while driving and takes multipple attempts to start ...but starts at once when accelator is not pressed when pressed it won't start a mechanic told me ...it gets "over" what does taht mean .......its a carby one

Over means more fuel in combustion chamber than require make sure tappets are not very tight and get air to fuel mixture from carb

go for a complete tuneup also make sure let them set mixture on ur carb
over means petrol ziyada ja raha hai means its running rich.

tappets are adjusted,point and coil is new,
iam thinking that it my be due to vapor lock!. what do u think?

can be starter bushes or battery. whats the ign timing?

starter works perfectly normal.

@ekdrifter one of my friend has alto vxr chimtas in his mehran. He said these fit in mehran without alteration and are better then mehran ones, he has kabli alto vxr chimtas in his mehran.

Shape is similar and yes after keeping both cars
Alto wins in suspension dept.
Even steering box of alto can fit in mehran with minor alteration.

if steering box can fit then people would have power steering in mehrans? i have not seen mehran with power steering
