Mehran Experience Tips and suggestions

My mehran low beam has stopped working...high beam works flawless... took it to mechanic and he suggested that headlight assembly has fried up and needs replacement. In addition he said to install relays or other bulbs as the bulbs are producing excessive heat which is melting the headlight reflector.
I have 55/60w osram bulbs installed. don't know if they are genuine or not???

What should i do???

If your car is more than 7-8 years old then the wiring must have developed some resistance by now..

So your best bet would be to get a new headlight switch assembly and install relays with proper wiring and a designated fuse.

And no need to go for fancy bulbs. Just purchase Osram bilux 55/60w from some suzuki 3s. For the orignal product.

Yar how can i make my car consume lesser petrol..i believe it runs rich and consumes alot. I am always on AC. Cng per tou best hai but heavy on petrol...2008 carby model.

What's avg you are getting on petrol?

I guess its ok for the carby hard working engine...
If your car is tuned for CNG then probably it will give best on CNG. If its tuned for petrol then it will give you best on petrol...

BTW Do check the ignition timing usually it's advanced to make the car run on cng. Retard it for petrol...

I guess its ok for the carby hard working engine...
If your car is tuned for CNG then probably it will give best on CNG. If its tuned for petrol then it will give you best on petrol...

BTW Do check the ignition timing usually it's advanced to make the car run on cng. Retard it for petrol...

If timing is under spec.. Then your carb may need a good tune up...
Don't expect wonder's from this 800cc motor abid bhai... Ye AC k sath max 13-14 hi de sakay gi max......

Yes it is E2, efi 2013, only driven 10,000 kms as it is a stand-by, second car at home which is taken out for short rides to market on weekends or to go to Pindi.

BTW my Altis 1.6 is also very fuel efficient MashaAllah.

When running ac for say 6km+ continuously during day time the needle crosses mid position around 65-70% towards H...i switch off the ac and it gets back to middle soon...car having tstat and automatic fac as i bought it in same condition. I am a big critic of tstat myself and wanted to throw it out in my car but my mechanic said to keep the car as it is as its just 26000 done on odo. So whats the remedy now for this issue? Ac performance is excellent
