I am using 2001 mehran these days and the issue which I'm facing is the smell of petrol while driving.... On a route of 15-20kms u can smell it couple of times.... Just want to ask that is that a manufacturing issue, anyone facing such issue or I have to go for inspection.....

there is a pipe besides the rear left lights. that is a plastic pipe you need to fix that pipe to a hole with silicon to seal it. it will solve that problem.

if you have petrol smell while driving or high rpms then your carb butterfly might be chocked. how would you rate your car's pick on petrol?

in new cars it usually happens when you fill low amount of fuel in car. fuel becomes fumes and smell spreads in cabin. one solution is to fill tank with minimum of 2000 rupees petrol so that less petrol is converted in fumes.

Your car is taking rich fuel. Get adjusted the fuel amount, the problem will be solved.

Also get the fuel pump checked,some times a leaky diaphragm could be the cause for smell.

mine had same issue and found out fuel pump was leaking

on rocky/bumpy roads tuk tuk sound from front in cabin.!??

goda sounds when u take a turn if its only on bumpy roads then steering box hissa bushes might be done

well that's a good answer as i see fuel line decreasing even i wont use petrol

Cars pick is not bad at all ... but seriously I haven't ever tried to run it fast ... I used to drive calmly....

No its giving almost 18-19 on canal road and few days back someone told me to get it tuned but I ll never ever allow any mechanic to touch its engine... Its just going great ...

For your kind information,it is not nacessary to face starting problem incase of leaky diaphrgm,petrol directly drip into the oil chamber through pump flange.

Help needed about mehran gear oil..my mehran odo is 5000km and suzuki mechanic told me to change its gear on its first tuning.
which gear oil and which grade is made for mehran and how much litres?

what is the purpose of gear oil..after changing gear oil any change in performance?

Zic FF red bottle and suzuki tune up say change gear and i think its 2.5L and play safe and save some cash buy engine oil and gear oil from a trusted shop as suzuki charges a lot more then distributors

I'm talking about fuel pump not leakage...may b I'm saying something sense less because I'm not enough good at these kinda stuff.... May b what you are saying is correct

i am using Zic A in my 12 alto a + is i think 5w 20 ?
a is 10w 40
i think if no problem then use a + if ur engine starts to give smoke then move to A
