Mehran Experience Tips and suggestions

Three no of foundations
1 in the front just behind the bumper
2 one is with firewall
3 one is in the side bolted with the gearbox
most of times the gearbox one is worn out and its easy to replace
and sound could be foundations and could be chimmtay are worn out in my case

How many foundations are there in mehran.. can you tell me their positions,i know one in right across the balancing rod below bumper near left side of radiator... When i pickup my car some kinda grup sound comes like something was stucked and with force or acceleration it released.

Chimtay you mean kenchiya? shouldnt be the case,its 2011 model..the foundation seems the culprit.
Btw where is this firewall

yes kenchiyan and well its a mehran mine was also 2 years old and shocks were deAD and firewall man engine k aur cabin k darmiyan jagha

still i say 8mm are way better they work good with stock oil wala ignition coil but in my case i had changed it with magnetic coil i am driving alto bone stock and i can still say 8mm are needed as it dies and ps ask way more for any thing then open market

you know you can buy really super low resitance wires really easily.

they are made by Pakistan cables.

Xulfiqar Bhai, I want to install Electronic Fuel Pump in my carby Mehran 2007 model as the mechanical fuel pump get faulty soon and I have replaced many of them.

Now someone has asked me to replace it with the electronic one which may be Mitsubishi (from Bilal Gunj) as shown in pic, so please guide me with your expert opinion that which is the better electronic fuel pump and does it requires any relay to control fuel or advices to save it from electric shock (if any) as well.

i have been hearing about this electronic pump since i bought that mehran since 2005 but never seen any one do it
reasons for stock oil pump in mehran to go wrong are not that much as in my case the fuel filter in the back was cracked as was filled with dirt and it could not supply fuel to the pump in the engine so it went faulty
now coming to fuel pump it self i had changed 4 fuel pumps in 7 years till i had the car some for the first time i opted for LZNF pump which worked like a charm for like 4 years in line then it started leaking and replaced it with some china one and it also leaked and in the end i found the problem was not the pumps but the plastic gasket between pump and the engine as it also allowed air to be in the system the car would give jerks and engine was full of oil.
this pump requirs alteration and it will cost u more then the oem original pump plus its a gamble as u know most of used parts are on "QISMAT"
i suggest u check the things i mentioned above and install original pump buy it from some suzuki dealership it costs about 2200rs and will work good.

Thank you brother for your guidance. But one thing I could not understand is about the plastic gasket. If it takes air then how the mobil oil go in the engine?

when fuel enters the engine its through suction from the carb now that gasket is there to make an air tight seal with the pump and the engine when it leaks so oil comes out on the engine bay and gearbox i mean full engine get dirty..
it costs 30rs but its an important part which mechanics never give importance.

But brother my car engine is totally dry but the pump fails to throw fuel, sometimes on the way i have to suffer and some times the car starts.

have u checked the fuel filer in the back its with fuel tank if its not checked replace it its cost is about 150rs max and then check it if it runs smooth or not

Bro the fuel filter and it's attachements are ok. Are you asking to check this fuel filter for leakage of Air Pressure build by Mechanical Fuel Pump??

i would never advise u that as their is a membrane a parda what thay call and used pump no way as who knows how was it used try to take price from 3s dealership or some good spareparts shop it was for 2200 some time back

this isn't sound of springs its from steering box and kanchies and u should avoid lubrication as u will end up in a mehees of mehrran hissa

paji, kanchies and steering box is all ok .. I can hear the springs makes noise when cutting.. i can differentiate between the sounds.
